BF% Formula
I know there are tons of BS calculators and formulas on the web, but I think this one is pretty damn close to accurate. 3 of my friends almost live by it. Tell me what you guys think, I know it's kind of long and a pain in the ass, but its pretty damn accurate, imo. What do you guys think?

Body Fat Formula For Men
Factor 1= (Total body weight x 1.082) + 94.42
Factor 2 =Waist measurement x 4.15
Lean Body Mass =Factor 1 - Factor 2
Body Fat Weight= Total bodyweight - Lean Body Mass
Body Fat Percentage= (Body Fat Weight x 100) / total bodyweight

Standard...I did the waist in inches
-

this thing is off..
according to this i am 18.5%..
(238lbs x 1.082) + 94.42 = 351.936
(38inches x 4.15) = 157.7
LBM = 194lbs
Fat = 44lbs of fat
BF% = 18.5%
I am anywhere between 18-20% so this is fairly accurateLast edited by MACHINE5150; 03-10-2011 at 11:36 AM. Reason: measured my hips rather than waist.. updated result

are you measuring your waist flexing or relaxed?
-

if i put my waist at 38inches it says i am 18.5%.. which is more accurate.... i wear 38" pants.. but my waist around my hips is 36" ... if i measure around my belly button and around (even sucking in) i am 38".. so maybe that is where i am supposed to measure???

Way too low, IMO. It says mine should be 14.1%. I'm actually around 20-21%, I think.

I was figuring I'm between 16 and 18, this thing pegged me at 17%. That sucks but I think it's accurate. Starting a cut cycle next week. Single digits, i'm coming back to you!
