Anyone seen the documentary Afghan Muscles?

Just watched it on the Documentary channel. It was unreal. The living conditions and what these guys went through just to have enough food and to be able to train was unbelievable. It was amazing the results they achieved with so little. My heart really went out to them. Anyone else watched this?

Heres a live stream for anyone who wants to see it now.

    http://adf.ly/iIZ6

For anyone who wants a downloadable version (to burn) just lmk and I'll link that too.
edit: btw I've been watching this for 20mins now and so far its extremely motivating just to see how easy most of us have it yet but how many excuses we still like to make. Its too much work for some of us to just eat the right amount of meals everyday nevermind struggle to find every meal we eat.

didn't watch it, but just fyi... AAS here is super cheap, totally available, and widely used. According to the pharmicist I saw today, most of the guys are on aas.

Widely available is enth, deca , winstrol , and a depot which is a coctail of a variety of esthers.

The problem with these guys here (Just a hypothesis) is that they don't have the quality of info like we have in western cultures, regarding diet, exercise and proper aas including pct. Many don't read and/or write, dont have internet access or pc's, or even have a website like this in their native tongue.

Honestly, a website like this has excellent information, and without it, it's like shooting in the dark.

A friend of mine explained to me that (when did the taliban leave.... 2003?) while the taliban were here, you could compete, but had to have proper muslim attire on. Can you imagine competing fully dressed?

Another issue, I think OP touched on, is diet.

I'm having a helluva time managing a proper diet. If I'm having a helluva time, imagine how difficult for a local national.

At the very highest levels of competing, these lads here have a big disadvantage. But most just compete locally, so relatively speaking, they are all on the same level playing field.

I was briefly watching a show the other night, and there were a few moments of local competition. I noticed they seem less developed than what you would expect stateside, which is about what I had expected.

Watch it tr. I think you'd enjoy it seeing the things they give up in order to compete. The main guy hamid hasn't gotten married cuz he knows he'll have to support a family rather than his sport. The others are mainly gym owners. Hamid is sponsored so to speak and his sponsor (a gym owner) gives him 5 eggs a day. They seem to eat mainly eggs chicken and vegetables. At one point they wanted to pass on prayer in order to work out but there father would not let them. It's all in Kabul too.

Also Hamid's sponsor (a gym owner and also competitor) was giving him 15 eggs a day and then when Hamid made the National team and he didn't he got pissed and started only giving him 5 eggs. A real bitch move imo.

Sad that they missed the one that they had been sacrificing to compete. They were in pretty amazing shape considering their circumstances.

just because it wasn't banned, doesn't mean they approved either. Since the sport doesn't glorify god (what the 'ell does that mean?), they probably did hassle the guys competing. Many of the competitions went underground. And those that occured, were the ones the that required a fully clothed presentation. Can you imagine competing, getting up on stage, and wearing long sleeve shirts and full length pants? Turns the whole thing into a joke is what it did. Since I wasn't around to witness, this is all second hand information to me, but it seems credible considering what was going on here just a few short years ago.

I was talking to this one fella that has been around for years here.... his friend competes. He said that when his friend is cutting, he eats nothing but boiled chicken and white rice. WTF????? Diet is a huge challange over here.
