Ritalin and or Concerta?
Any one use or used these? I have ADHD and have never taken them until now. Iv been having trouble in college this semester so I gave in and went to the doc who gave me concerta (Ritalin with a 12 hour half life).
So far im not sure what I think....took 36mg at 9:00 a.m and 1 hour in a felt almost high...its almost 4:00 p.m and I still feel kinda high...feel spaced out but still energized.

I used to work with a kid who took Concerta. I'd pick him up from school, help with homework, drive him to violin lessons, etc.... He had ADHD really bad and was a pretty crazy kid. When he would go on and off the stuff he would have crazy mood swings and throw tantrums. Then again, he was 13, so it's tough to compare. I'm back in school myself and having a bitch of a time concentrating. Lemme know how it works out for you, because I'm probably going to the doc soon.

My 8 year old is on Concerta for ADHD. I like it as he is very focused now.

Google "modalert", interesting drug used by long range recon troops.
100mg 45 minutes before workout will give you a kick in the pants.

I don't like the 12hour half life. I prefer ritalin. better control with smaller windows. one in the morning, one at lunch, and you are done.

Yeah it's just not gonna look good on some job applications in the future. Pretty lame imo. I'm just getting worse and worse and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm supposed to be studying for a big calculus test tomorrow, but god damn I just can't focus. Frustrating......

I'm trying Strattera for the first time. I was getting really bad- was spacing off during lectures and not being able to focus, was constantly losing stuff. Today, I was able to sit down and work on all of my cover letter and resume stuff (lots of essays) for hours just fine. I think I've found my secret weapon.
