Curious to know how this is. Will wait for a few members to give me thier take. Last time I upgraded IE I got nothing but frame page errors until they fixed it. Freaking annoying.

Is this the beta version or the buggy version. I think I got about 100 critical security updates on the version 8. everyone says go with mac. I'm seriously thinking it myself, but in the mean time I'll probably download the version 9 to try it out, after I backup all my files in case the version 9 crashes my computer.

Beta was the older test version and this is the latest version of internet explorer which has had some good reviews so far considering it's only been available for a download since yesterday.

I've been using this version for a day now and it's much faster than Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari etc and it has cool new features.

I'm not a computer guy but I made the switch to Mac a while back and have no regrets at all. IMO Mac is superior in every way (except price) and there's nothing I would change about it.

Chrome has offered hackers 20K if they can crack their browser and so far no one has been able to. Ill stick with chrome.

Bill Gates in all his infinite wisdom decided to make internet explorer 9 compatable with only Vista and Windows 7, and said screw all other users of his other operating systems. Nice move Billy boy. Looks like I'll be using firefox, opera and or chrome and eventually make my move to a mac. Microsoft you are quickly becoming so yesterdays news.

While I can certainly understand your sentiment, there may have been some very good reasons for that relating to speed and security.
