Need help from the women.... quick wardrobe question.

I got this olive green colored hooded long sleeve shirt where you can see the shirt underneath. I'm wearing dark jeans with it. What color shirt underneath, and what color shoes? Thanks.

I think you should post a pic of you in just the jeans and maybe that will help me to decide what would look best.

Seriously, I would love to help but I really would have to see the outfit and what your options of shoes and (under)shirt would be. I'm more of a visual kinda gal.

don't put brown shoes on black pants. Black shoes on blue jeans is OK,

if its jeans you also need to watch out for leg width. you dont want boot cut jeans with skinny shoes or skinny legs with wide shoes. just my 2cents. check out mens health, they have alot on clothes.

That's why I asked for advice.... I'm not too good with all this fashion stuff. Tonight I went on my first date in a long time, and I was second guessing my clothing choice. Went shopping today and there are some pretty lame clothes out there.... or maybe I'm just out of touch. Probably the latter.

With the right green you can easily do either brown or black.

Id go with black all the way for the shirt.

Shoes... with sneakers, Id say something dark... it can be dark with white... but must be a darker color.

Boots... dont know if you ware them... go black... and thats with any kind of boot. That will match your shirt and wont clash with the green. Dont go brown with a black shirt.

If you go with a brown shirt, go with brown boots.

I think black with black boots/shoes would be best.

Here's what I went with.... I ran out of time last night so I did as best I could. I went with blue because it matches the blue on some shoes I like... they look like Forrest Gump's in that view but they're actually pretty cool. My eyes are blue as well. I rolled up the sleeves and thought it looked pretty decent overall.... I'm gonna have to consult with you guys earlier next time so I don't panic and throw together the wrong things lol. Oh, and we just did drinks and a movie so it wasn't a fancy dress type thing.

They're Diesel. They're leather, hard plastic, and a windbreaker-like material.... I like em.

GREAT! actually I LOVE a nice pair of clean white sneakers with jeans.....to me very boyish and fresh. (But not keds and I could not tell from the photo)....

You do know this I hope: girls judge men by their shoes more than any piece of clothing....'tis true.

I know... I have three sisters so I had the inside scoop growing up. I love the nicer looking sneakers with jeans, and really like white ones with dark colored jeans as well. Hopefully she noticed, because I just went shopping for all that crap the other day and it was like a $300 outfit.

Clean above all else. Sturdy. Not cheap and thin. If white sneakers, not keds or something thin and flimsy. And must be squeaky white if white.

Jeans go with about anything: sneakers, teva type, open toes, loafers, boat shoes, birkenstocks, huaraches, hiking boots, and.....last but not least..... especially cowboy boots (yum)

If you have European type GQ shoes make sure a real nice leather and not plastic.
If boots they can have some scuffs but the heels need to be sturdy and not all slanted.

If hiking boots, then make 'em sturdy. If open toe shoes make sure your toenails are clean. And if flip flops make sure they are not what the girls wear but something a bit more solid.

And no hi-inches even for more height. And remember to have clean socks too. So if and when the shoes start to come off we do not cringe with the lack of aroma.

Classic and simple works best. The tried and true. The ones which have been around forever. Something that will stay around as a good investment. Not something flashy and temporary since this is a subtle translation that you are not sturdy enough for us. And we want sturdy and for the long term and if we feel you are paying money for the latest gimmick then we wonder how you spend your money. Remember this: shoes are OUR gimmick. Not yours. You step on our turf doing this.

Females also look at shoes and can tell what type of work you do and/ or how much money you make. It is a reality. And there have been studies done on this. We seem to judge by the shoes more than any other piece of clothing. That is what the surveys say anyway. I am simply sharing this.
