    Help with acne.

Not cycling at all, but I am experiencing some nasty acne on shoulders especially. Used to have it on my face but now it is only my shoulders and upper back. What are you guys taking to combat this? It can't be my diet because I don't eat fast food or oily food.

SOme of the guys on here say dish washing soap does a good job. Some vitamins can help with it too, I believe it is B5 that plays a big part. If its really that severe head to the doc and get accutane...I promise it will work lol its amazing

Try changing your gym shirts, towels, etc more often.

All that will do is dry out your skin and make things worse.

Minocyclin antibiotics to fight it from inside then I use saint Ives green tea face wash and nioxin shampoo as a topical to keep it gone.

Try tanning and using the body wash called Blade. Works for me on and off cycle.

I forgot about tanning...definately dries it up quite nicely. Dont overdo it with the tanning lotion or anything if your going to a tanning bed, its expensive and you can get tan without it just use normal lotion before and after and stuff

Put on a salicylic lotion after each shower and get a salicylic soap too. It helps keep it at bay. And don't leave that sweat on for more than 30 min after the gym

Aloe vera twice a day. Accutane did nothing for me that's how bad mine was/is.

But after cleansing face with a salicylic acid soap, toning with astringent and moisturizing which aloe vera, I find that I get less pimples and those that do pop up disappear quite fast!

Any chance you use any pre-workout supps? Just asking cuz once I dumped the pre-made stuff my shoulders cleared up quickly. Just an observation I thought I'd pass on. Good luck.

Accutane worked the best for me, but it's pretty harsh and everyone isn't a fan.
I've found that tanning helps more than any other alternative, along with making sure you drink plenty of water and thouroughly wash the affected area. Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide washes can help and both work slightly differently, although off the top of my head I couldn't tell you exactly what that difference is.
Just stop touching the area and adding oils, try not to pick or squeeze, and I've never taken it but B5 and Zinc are supposed to work very well
