Leg day.......
I know others are gonna have great stories like this.....
Yesterday was leg day...ya know; one of those...I'm gonna puke...pass out sorta leg days.
Could hardly push the clutch in and when I did...leg starts shaking...cramping!
I think I must of missed the clutch at least ten times in a span of 2 km's.

i made myself look a right twat y'day.
did my squats, extensions, curls and decided to finish off with a few light lunges with 60kg on an olympic bar (haven't done em in years), went down on the 1st lunge and my hamstring nearly tore in fvckin two.
i had let the bar slide across my shoulder on the ground and pressed the other end up to get out. i felt a right tit lol

I have my buddy drive when it's leg night because his cars an automatic. I have to use my hand to push my leg down on the clutch if I drive.

when I'm in the groove on leg day, after, i feel like i'm doing the funky chicken walking away. ever feel like yer walking down the stairs and miss a step? that's sorta how I feel. after, i feel real shakey.
it's a crappy feeling. for about 10 minutes. then after, it goes away, and life is good! never puked though.

I drive a manual as well, nothing like being pulled over for dropping the clutch when your leg cramps and trying to explain it to a fat cop....

color me strange with a big paint brush, but I was thinking of the leg thread right at lights out last night, and the anaology that best describes it for me, the shakey feeling I get afterwards is something like this
it seems i'm burning fuel out of the carborator FASTER than the fuel pump can deliver it from the gas tank

I know I have worked hard enough if I get a headache. I rarely get a headache at any time, but I do get one on leg days if I have trained really hard .... never with other body parts!

Leg days as my favorite... I train 'em a minimum of twice per week (though sometimes I train 'em daily when i'm in the bulgarian training phase).
During the workout is rougher than after.
I remember once I passed out after a particularly nasty drop-set on squats. We had filled the bar up with a ton of weight... repped til failure, then did forced reps til the negative started looking shaky... then stripped a plate off and repeated... then stripped a plate off and repeated... and kept doing that til we got down to 135 lbs (which, by then, felt like 405 lbs lol).
I remember racking the weight... and then the next thing I remember, I was looking at the ceiling.
Good times.
Nowadays, the most I get is that I see little stars or little black spots floating about between sets.
I get the calf shakes too... but not regularly.

Few weeks ago I trained legs till failure on squats then till failure on leg press. I got the "spins" like when you're drunk and you lay down.... oh boy! I looked like a zombie walking all funny to the bathroom and the moment that door closed it was like the Exorcist... spewing the 3 bottles of water I drank before and during my workout. Fun times
