... Ive been going back to the gym after 8 months of being away (car accident and shattered calcaneus).
Ive been back to the gym for 3 weeks now I think... started P/T two weeks ago.
Foot is doing really great. Im still in the walking boot and crutches, but I can tollerate putting my full weight on it to take one or two steps here and there![]()
That may not seem like its big news to most... but ive been on crutches and unable to walk since August 1, so this is really big news/great news!!!
So Ive been working with a trainer who has been a really big help, getting me set up with exercises and equipment to strengthen my leg, knee and hip.
Ive been adding workout days with each week. This week, I only skipped Wednesday.
Yesterday I was there for 1 1/2 hrs before work, then 1 1/2 hrs after work... and 4 hrs today. I feel great!!!
My leg/s are building back really fast... AND I can see some definitioin in my right calf (broke right heel) already
My main focus has been my lower body, then abbs and last upper body. Im sort of off balance here, but I can straighten that out later.
I am just so excited I had to share
Im going to the gym tomorrow for a few hours in the morning.
I missed the gym so much.
Hubby told me today that Im a gym rat![]()
