Your favorite workout and gym slang. Let it rip
Hey everyone,
As well as an avid gym rat I'm also a writer and doing a little research. I usually post things of a serious and respectful nature here but thought this would be appropriate and perhaps a little fun for us all.
I was wondering what some of your favorite terms and expressions are in the gym. Some people have some pretty creative expressions for training specific body parts like "baking some hams" for working hamstrings as well as some humorous nick names for body parts, gym equipment, steroids , and other people in the gym etc. Any and all input is helpful.
I'd love to hear some of yours so if you'd entertain me on this it would be much appreciated and I'm sure entertaining for our fellow members.
Thanks in advance guys
LET IT RIP!

Training shoulders/traps is my favorite followed by chest. I workout alone unless i need a spot. But i'm constantly telling myself before sets and during sets that "it's time to go to work!"

"Air Lats" for the guy walking with his arms out wide like he's huge, when it's far from the truth.
