Not the ones I've seen... Germans do though. I am assuming we are talking about bodybuilding btw
you never know, some cultures don't but much value on weightlifting....
....take for example Afghans.... they are more concerned about making sure they get enough to eat and no one shoots them.
huh ?
ouch! guess I have to explain this "joke"
when someone says that, it means ya aint good lookin enough to be on TV.... which is why they go to radio instead.
....yeah, that one may have been out there a little bit....
ah yeah in can agree on that but any clue as to what my types good for ?
A first step would be to determine the muscle cell type, fast vs slow twitch. If there is no info. on Native Americans re: that genetic aspect, you could have the
test done on yourself. On just say the hell with it and start working out and
watching your diet. As you know, NA's tend to pick up weight very quickly.
I know that I'm only a quarter but my whole side of the family that is native are all tall and thin. Ive been lifting for years and my very heaviest I can manage natty was about 215. At 6'2". I was by far the bulkiest in my family!
Not to be a smartaqss but whats the difference? Its not like you can change your genetics. Surely you arenbt looking to your body type or gentics to determine your ultimate purpose in life are you ? Or , as gixxer said - you could just be a barber......
nah its not that I love working out i'd work out regardless of my genetics I work out for because its fun and healthy for me I did powerlifting for 2 years and then tried bodybuilding for 1 and i loved them both I wasonly wondering because later i'd like to try and compete in amature competitions for one the2 and was wondering which one i'd be suited for more than the the other. I would never give up working out I love seeing number and size go up
Native Indians have good genetics for Drinking/Alcohol, it takes less to get drunk. Fire water. If we are talking about American Indians...
Because one can does not make it the norm. It's a well known fact that most Indians have a low tolerance to alcohol due to not having any exposure to it until the white man arrived so they have very little time genetically or inherently as far as built up tolerance. If you dont believe me go to a local Indian reservation watering hole or Google it.
Native Indian culture prised height and prominent foreheads in male children. Many native cultures actually disposed of male babies who were undersized or who had delicate facial features. In a sense they were involved in their own selective breeding program. Hence the perponderance of tall native indians with long limbs and prominent facial bones, esp. foreheads.
Obviously a certain degree of atheleticism would have been advantageous for a native indian for hunting purposes and through a proceass of natural selection combined with selective breeding, you ended up with the native american genetic type; which in most cases does not have particularly great potential for pro bodybuilding.
That said, as otherws pointed out, you can be a lot bigger and stronger as a body builder regardless of your genetics via working out, eating right and AAS. So either do it or don't. Forget about your genetics, you can't change them.
Native American and or Native Canadian people are amazing athletes! here in Canada lacrosse is a big sport and they have aboriginal lacrosse team and let me tell you these guys are scary to play against! fast, strong, tough as nails! the problem is many of them come from bad homes on the reserve and don't do anything with their lives...also they have poor diets and many of them drink their lives away.
If you look back in history when the "white man" first came here there are documents of how well defined and muscular the native people were, they even tried to ship them over to Europe as slaves because they were so well build and strong.
Many still retain a good portion of those genetics: however I am suggesting that they are genetically suited to endurance activities (muscles are long and lean) and not well suited to BB which requires muscle bulk.
What do you call an indian bodybuilder? Inmate.
Probably Racist joke but there is a kernel of truth there. Go to the can almost anywhere in Canada outside of Quebec and you will see a lot of Indians working out who all of a sudden have an interest in body building. They hit the streets and return to a steady diet of beer and potatoe chips. It's really quite amusing to see them trying to flail around with weight that's far too heavy with very little thought give to form. routine or diet. I'm not hating, just stating what I have observed.
