My 5 plate deadlift and 3 plates bench! Vid/Pics
No straps, no belt, no chalk...just some paper towel for my sweaty hands lol.

Good job man! maxing on dead lifts might be the hardest lift because there is no momentum from bottom to top until you get the weight moving. Its funny because I always hear guys in the gym say "my max is like 600lbs" or "I bench 405" but I never see them lift even close to that when lifting in the gym....atleast you have evidence!

Thanks, yep its all my equipment. Turned my garage into a dungeon style gym. Use it for personal training as well haha.

Disagree. Look at his elbows, they're past parallel to the floor. Some people have longer arms (i'm one of them) and touching chest makes the lift 10x harder and puts huge strain on the shoulders than for somebody with shorter arms who will be parallel when touching chest.

shit man, i wish u were on the bodybuilding.com forums to explain this. I'm getting bashed huge for "not touching chest" I was always taught to come about a fists length away from chest when benching. Ive been doing that forever, and my bench has gone from 115 to 315 and grown a lot haha. So i dunno wtf these ppls problem is.

i wonder if partials would help my bench/chest...i am tall and bench isnt strong point in comparison to other lifts....not sure how long arms are
