Mlb baseball umpire gonna get fired?

Who saw the blatantly wrong safe call to end the 19inning game?

looked at the replay from several angles, i didnt see a def tag in any of them. Im not saying he didnt tag him but i wouldnt say it was a horrible call.

Seeing as the ump was in the wrong position (behind the plate when he needed to move to the side as if looking at 3) to make the call.....yup...its actually a tough one.

its hard to see a tag but it seems like he is saying he is safe before the runner touched the base

it looks like he got him on the shin, but the ump looked like he had his decision made up before the call is made. usually, when the ball beats the runner, he is always called out. in this case, i think the ump was tired of squatting and made a horrible call. he was not in the right position to make the call. i am a braves fan so HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This is from Jimmy Kimmell but it's the best footage I could find. And I don't care where the ump was standing. He fvcked this one up bad.

The tag may have been there.. it may not have been...
That call was a tough one to make.. I don't actually see the cathers mit touch the player.. it almost floated over him

the touch from a swipe tag is rarely noticeable its almost like the double play at 2nd base where the foot gets in the "vicinity" of the base during the turn..

    blatantly botched and intentional, imo

i havent heard a follow up on it...anyone?

    good read....

instead of holding the umpire accountable...lets bring in instant replay so we can see it eleven times and still have a hard time making the right call

And make the game that much longer. Baseball already goes on far too long.

baseball is to boring. I saw something saying that today's kids don't have as much interest in baseball as other sports for that reason.

They need to do something to make it better. Maybe let the runners keep the bat as they round the bases

They need to make it more affordable for the average dad.....

For me..... there was nothing like walking into yankee stadium as a kid. Get to the seats..... seeing the diamond..... the giant scoreboard. Shit like that lasts forever..... and it keeps kids interested in the sport. We need to create memories.....

Unfortunately...... it's not easily done anyone unless your making over $150,000 a year or you don't mind 3rd tier seats lol.

I did take my mother to a game (shes a huge yankee fan) for mothers day. Almost $300 for 2 tickets (20 rows form the field), $120 for 2 audi club passes with the dinner included. Then food and drinks durring the game were almost another $100. I could have gone cheaper..... but I made her night and we created a memory that we wont forget.

I think if games were a little more affordable, especially in tough times, more parents would bring their kids.

Just do away with the ban on performance enhancing drugs. Think about how exciting it was when McGwire and Sosa were battling it out for the new homerun record and dropping bombs nearly every night. Or when Bonds was chasing the homerun record. The stands were full during those times and tv ratings were sky high.

like i said...because of those blackballings i have had a hard time watching baseball lately...i dont like the "attitude" mlb has that thinks they are soooooooooooooooooooooo fn clean...what they did is disrespected many names that MEAN baseball...

dont u just love seein physiques like "prince" fielders hittin homers...

i left room for debate i know there are still athletic ppl in the game nor does physique matter nor should i care...like i said...just left with a bad taste seeing the ppl who saved the game get pissed on and left defending THEIR FUVCKING FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
