    happy birthday arnold

    lol

Thought might as well start a thread about the most influential bodybuilder of all time

Arnold Schwarzenegger celebrated his 64th birthday today by going bicycling with some friends along Venice Beach.

The former governor of California loves a good ride.

Later ... Arnold hit up his favorite lunch spot, Cafe Roma, where the paps sung him "Happy Birthday."

I would love to shake his hand just once and tell him thanks for all the years of inspiration he has given me. It was about 20 years ago, I joined my first gym. The trainer brought out the encyclopedia and outlined a workout for us. I bought it soon after I saw it. I still use these training principles today.
    Happy b-day.

I have a somewhat relative who lives a sedentiary lifestyle, suffers serious depression and had a hospital stay for a bit. Anyhow, Just recently for sh*ts I gave him a copy of Pumping Iron. He never heard of it or seen it. He's in his early 20's, I wasn't even sure if it would be up his alley. 2 WEEKS after he been watching that video he went out and got a Gym membership....Talk about powerful stuff! Freakin awesome!

Our Arnold, whose arms are heavy,
    Vascular be thy veins
Nine sets of lunges, ten reps be done,
To add girth as it is to strengthen.
Give us this day our daily protein, and forgive us our fats,
As we forgive those who eat fat too.
And lead us not into over-training, nor deliver us pizzas,
For thou art the king of the dumbbell, the power clean, and the steroids forever,
    Amen.

Arnold called me on the phone one time urging me to grab a broom and join him in Sacramento to help sweep up the mess.

All in all, he didn't do such a great job in California.

    I give up... when?

the state is actually very unmanageable. i think the state constitution needs to be rewritten.

so in all fairness to "the terminator" he did about as shitty a job as all the others...

Happy belated Birthday Arnold. Rumor has it that the economy has hit you these days and now you have to hire your maid just to clean your house.
