Computer Freezes-Help needed

My computer freezes randomly when I play a game and the only way to turn it off is hold the power button. Is this going to mess up my computer?

Nope, just randomly during the middle of games.

Is it with any games or just specific ones? What kind of video card do you have? Is it overheating and the fan may have to be turned up? If you can give me your computer stats.

Lots of variables, I would at least get the latest drivers for sound and video. Make sure and get your windows updates. I think Necrosaro made a good point also about the overheating. Proper drivers and ventilation and get the latest patch for the game version that u have to match your operating system. New games are always released with bugs.

Hi, It is most likely an overheating issue as mentioned before but it's a good idea to check all the drivers are up to date. Does the game freeze or stutter at all while playing?
