Facebook, like Microsoft Windows, is a standard for its cause, and that is what people like and trust. Could you imagine how hard of learning curve it is for something new? There is always going to be other start up attempts, but this type of inertia cannot be stopped. The precedent is set and there is nothing fake about this path to domination.

What are you going on about? Are you talking about GooglePlus? Lot's of people have already switched or using both. There is not learning curve for new users or none more than if they used Facebook.
