if you have a smartphone download "hidemytexts".. works wonders and even the icon is disguised its pw protected and you can make it so it doesnt even ring or vibrate

why would a cell phone show a text anyway until you open it..my new cell phone i cant figure out how to stop it from showing .....it only flashes for a sec but totally ridiculous that a "smart phone" is dumber than a traditional cell phone...shouldnt have to download an "ap" to perform a routine feature

the app hides the notification all together.. It wont ring or vibrate or even show up on your phone until you log in to the program with a password... you decide who you want to "hide" and how you want to be notified, ie virbate/ring.. and if someone looked at your phone there would be no trace of it anywhere except stored in the app...

i dont want or need it password protected but all texts pop up on the top of the screen briefly...its ridicurous

I gotta get that hiding app thing. Srsly. It sucks I have an iphone and I can hide the preview of the message and even make it silent, but my phone still lights up and it has the name of the contact sending the text...

The only thing I could think of is naming all my girls to "bob01 bob02 bob03"... then if the question arises... it's just bob texting me, yeah, my friend bob, or my second friend named bob...

I would get myself confused though...
