So as I mentioned a week or two ago I was being "deployed" (more like sent on vacation) to Puerto Rico for six months. Well, I've been here for a little over a week and a few days ago I freakin' met Terry Crews (The funny buff black dude in a lot of comedies) down here. We were eating at a restaurant called Los Platos and I see this big scary looking mofo walk in and it suddenly clicked in my head who it was.
One guy with us politely went over, said he was a fan of his work and asked if it was possible to get an autograph. He initially said he was with his family and just wanted to be left alone to which my friend replied back kindly, "Sorry for bothering you."
Well not fifteen minutes later he walks over to our table and says he had asked his wife and she had said it was okay that he greet his fans. My buddy ended up getting an autograph and after bullshitting with us for about five minutes he shook all our hands and went back to his table.
I haven't met many celebrities, but he was extremely nice, polite, funny, and down to earth. It makes me respect the man all that much more!
