Anyone have knowledge about Criminal Law Help!!!

i have a charge that is almost two years old.
i went to court that same year charged, they had no recollection of me suppose to being there. so i left and never heard about it since.
i just found out today its showing up on the system as pending still.
does this charge still have authority still, i mean can i beat this cause its almost two years old. is there any loop hole??
my lawyer is going to look into it but he says its gonna take days to get the 411, can anyone help me out

Bro, as a veteran of the criminal justice system (you don't even wanna know!), that charge is still good as gold unless it was dismissed, continued without a finding, or a guilty or innocent finding was filed. In any case, you would have to have been present for any of those incidents to occur. If you were formally arraigned, then the statute of limitations would not apply either. So, even though I don't have much specifics on your situation, I would say you're gonna have to pay the piper. Good luck, bro.

Good thing about it is that if there were any witnesses around chances are that after 2 years they probably could probably have a problem remembering, have conflicting stories, or not even be able to be found. Good luck bro.

I'm sure your lawyer will tell you this,but

if its 2 years old, almost anybody will have problems
remembering exactly what happened, so you should be able
to beat the charge.

Unless you killed 37 people or something real dramatic!
