Dreams Still Come True In America!
Landau Eugene Murphy, a car wash attendant who happens to be of African American Descent, just won one million dollars on Americas Got Talent for crooning out Frank Sinatra style songs in a manner that would turn the most critical thinking persons head around making one think that that voice isn't coming from that black car wash man. What a rags to riches tale indeed and what a unique voice to come from the least suspecting person......Congrats go to him

the 3 ex girlfriends with 3 kids he is father to will sue him for back child support.
1mil is nice but after it's all said and done unless you invest properly, save or buy things of value it wont last long. Hopefully he will be smart with it and continue his career.

Unfortunately the odds are against him. I've seen shows where people win lottery money and are flat broke after going through millions in less than a year. It's like they never had money and don't know how to manage it once they get it and they just go on a crazy spending spree from hell buying all kinds of stupid stuff like 20 new cars, airplanes, several homes, etc. I only wish I had the money to see how well i would do with it all.

If I won a million I'd take a solid 10% so 100g and go to town buy a BA car or something awesome lol idk then invest the rest. Lol the key is not being stupid with it all

Every penny I have I have had to work for in one way or another. The only time I have had easy money (if you want to call it that) come my way was when I was in desperate need and almost every last penny went to bills.
I would take 25% and set aside in some time of secure fund (if there is such a thing) such as CD (lousy interest) or something similar. I would pay off 100% bills, I would buy a nice (not huge) house 80%-90% cash and finance the rest. LOL I would go on a nice 3 week vacation and play but still not live/spend elaborate. No $500 a night rooms or crap like that. I would hopefully still have some left to do a little investing. No way would I stop working.
I knew/knew of a guy who won 5 million lottery. He was 62 when he won. He worked at the same manufacturing plant I did. He continued to work 5x a week and even some weekends. The rumor was his wife would not let him quite. LOL If I was 62 and had a wife like that and won 5 mil I would get divorced, give her 50% and move to Thailand. He may be out of money and dead in a couple of years but not without a smile on his face.

If I won $1mill; First thing I would do is quit my job.. I will then take a 3 week(or so) vaca, prob to different areas.. Then I would buy a house for about $400k and pay cash(no 30 year mortgage).. Then I would buy a new car, pay cash.. Nothing crazy but something sporty prob around $30-40k.. Then I would buy a vaca home on the lake for about $300k.. Then I would realize I do have nice things and realize I still need money.. So at that point I would prob go ask for my job back, lol
