Foo Fighters are great live. Seen them both last year and the year before.
Definitely will take the first opportunity. Dave Grohl is actually a huge metal fan, and collaborates a lot with metal artists. He even has his own metal band called probot. He plays most of the instruments on the album (came out in 2004 and only out one album out) and has some great guest vocals.Quote:

Not strictly metal but saw the fun lovin criminals last night they were great live I have to say
Devils Dozen just started. I'm going for a drive and listening loud. Lots to think about today.
Lots of shit going down today in the world of metal news.
Racism in metal.
Robb Flynn of Machinehead called out Phil Anselmo for screaming white power and giving a nazi salute on stage during the Dimebag concert.

Anselmo is known to be a racist but he's out of control.
I have to say, Flynn hit it on the head with his video. There is no place for that in the metal community or anywhere else.
Made me think about the people in the world, where they come from and how that dictates where that person will be in life, what beliefs they will have, how they look at other human beings. I know we all write our own destiny, and everyone should always strive for what they want in life and not be bound by their roots, so to speak, but I'm talking about in the masses. Statistically, people stay close to the area where they're from, right?
I guess what I'm getting at is, people don't understand the power they have collectively, and if people would just be good to one another, the world would be better. I'm not saying it would fix every problem, but I believe it would make a better world to live in. The sad thing is, and I hope to God I'm wrong, but I'm realizing that might not ever happen, or how long will it be before it does? What has to happen to get us there, tragedy? World chaos? What?
This was a good step today in working toward being better to each other.
Oh, and listen to the new song, Akroasis, by Obscura.. Heard it for the first time today and it ripped my face off.
Phil Ansemlo's apology.

He seems to think by saying sorry after what he has said or done is ok wereas what would have been better is not say anything at all and people might gain some more respect for him.
I think he had to many side projects going as wellQuote:

Was never a huge fan of Dave Mustane's voice, but the music is really solid.
Listening to Meshuggah. Bleed is a killer song.
More on Anselmo.

I shall read that. Some ZZ Top today truly an epic band to listen to so glad I went to see them live
Anthrax :)
Watching a full length Slipknot concert on YouTube.
Tonight my daughter and I went out to a movie then dinner, and was listening to metal on the way to and from.
When she was younger, she used to change it, now she listens and if I tell her she can change it she usually just leaves it, and that makes me happy. Lol.
