    Anyone else have piercings ?

So I recently an industrial ear piercing and I've noticed there are a lot of online stores where you can buy all kinds of different barbells. However, I have no clue what a legit jewelry online store looks like. I don't want to buy something and get an infection due to sterility. My main piece of jewelry will be custom made locally but there is a lot of novelty and less expensive pieces I've seen that would look cool O_o.

So basically, anyone have any tips for spotting out legit online jewelry websites ? Specifically ones that might specialize in alternative pieces such as industrial and whatnot.

only tatts here mate. I was kickin the idea of having the tongue strip cut to increase tongue length a few years back.... like the Gene Simmons look. But after i began reading it may not give me the result I was looking for, i let myself get talked out of it....

I'm 34 and like to think that I'm still somewhat in the know as far as style and fashion, but I have no fukking idea what an industrial piercing is. LOL.

so, did it actually extend your tongue? by how much? was your tongue short or normal to begin with? back then, i was thinking of getting mine down at a piercings shop, but I heard there could be problems with that too.

oh really? like a hunk of metal in your tongue banging into your teeth aint a little "weird"?

I was thinking of something more practical, more utilitarian, something I'd like to put a little mileage on.... aint nothing wrong with a 4" tongue you can use??

the barbell type is typically uses to give your partner a little extra stimulation in the right area be it male or female. Personally I just tell her to go ahead and use the teeth a little most of the time. LOL No, really I do.

I think the OP is referring to gauges and such where they put the large holes/rings in the ears. Ive heard stories of them smelling like rotting flesh when removed, stinking really bad.

I dont get it. It's the same thing we use to see on national geographic from African tribes and such and not it's fashionable??? Next fashion will be the dame neck rings, stretching the neck.

My son and some of his Gfriends had studs in their tongues. You can hear it clicking in their mouths, banging into their teeth, like they are playing with it in there.... then sometimes you hear them sucking up their drool a little bit. then there is the bit where it interferes with normal enunciation of words, like it gives them a speech impediment or something.... just slightly, but it's there.

and yo! LB! Teeth? Really? I've had this creepy fantasy about getting it from a chick with no teeth. years ago, when i was in the repo business, I met this black dude that had this really fine white GF. somehow, the subject came up about oral, and the fact that his woman's teeth can come out if she wanted to. AND he said without teeth makes a huge difference for the better. So ever since then, i've been strangely fascinated by the idea......??? Ya, i know, kinda creepy

Im sure the without teeth is better because of the extra friction from the gums vs lips. That's why i dont mind a little light teeth action. Honestly I think I lost a little sensitivity due to the back issues so the Ive never or hardly ever have complained about a little extra friction. My 2nd wife was quite happy about it since she had been told she wasnt any good at one point by someone and she liked to do it several times a week. Current girl just never had any previous experience so the learning curve was not an issue. LOL Only problem is it can take quite a while to finish at times but so far she doesnt mind me helping by grabbing the hair/head and keeping the rhythm up to speed. I just have to be careful or I will be making my own deep throat/head banging/gagging videos soon. hehehehehe

    Sorry for OT.

4 piercings in my ears. Made me fail a job interview once.
Anybody considering tats piercings should consider having it done so that it can be covered with a long sleeved shirt.
However Tats would also have made me fail my current employer, as I have to go through a full physical exam, shirt off.
Be wise. You don´t know what your likes and dreams will be 5 years from now.

Regarding online jewlery stores. Just looking at one myself that has my dream Breitling 1/2 off retail. It´s a .com, site, says they are out of NY, with address.
If they mail a fake through US mail, it´s a federal offense, and if I pay with Master Card they say they cover fraud.....but no, I´m too worried, too much money on the line.

A watch? That's one thing I never understood is someone spending good hard earned cash on a watch. I mean $40 or $50 maybe but above that is it going to tell time any better than a $20 Timex? I guess some people just have more money than...... than I do...

    Different passions.
    I don´t own a car.
And when I did, they were "boring" reg. "modes of transportation", except from some fun old American classics.
Never bough a new car, and I don´t think I ever will.
    $5000 rims or $5000 watch?

I've been preaching that for years. My tatts and my sons tatts are very descrete

Having said that, riding my harley to work every day caused me problems once when I was a division controller.... some employers are extremely concerned with image, and scooter trash like me just didn't give them the warm and fuzzies.

People will Always judge you by how you look. It aint fair, but that's life

agree. different passions. don't really give a crap about what kind of cage (car) i drive.... drove my last truck 400,000+ miles. But I am into stereo equipment (for the home), harleys, and good clean food. These I don't mind spending money on

That's another idiot (not intended to be an insult) investment, $5000 rims? No way, doesn't make the car go any faster. A couple hundred for nice rims sure but not big money.

Yeah people have different passions for sure just like expensive shoes or even ties. LOL I was looking at ties the other day and saw some for $100+ I was WTF for a piece of scrap silk? Time to go to the goodwill.

Yeah I need to invest in a larger house and garage just because of cars. I got the PU with big block/magnum engine, SUV, sports car with 400hp at the wheels and commuter car. They all got stock rims though. LOL

Yeah...clothes. I have no clue. I go to Marshalls. At least I upgraded from Target. Everything I have is oversized and unfitting.
Things have changed after my last GF though. All my shirts and suits went to the tailor for some major alterations. Now she´s dressing me and I look much better....
    What´s the 400hp?
    Did u say u had a -69 Camaro once?

I had a 67 Camaro SS from age 16 - I was almost 40. I sold it about 6 month before the market skyrocket on the value. just my luck.
The 400hp at the wheels is my 91 Dodge ******* (Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4) twin turbo I have done a few minor/major upgrades to over the years. The numbers are true all wheel drive dyno tested, not make believe like most.
Yeah it's funny how women seem to have much better taste when it comes to clothes. I have argued several times not wanting to change or get what they like but in the end it does look better than what I would have chosen.

Woah quite the de-rail / hijacked thread here O_o. Oh well =(. An industrial piercing is at the top of the ear typically and you have a bar that goes through two points of cartilage in the upper ear and the bar has beads at either end. Google image it for a better explanation.

weird or mutilation, doesn't matter what word you label it with. and 'weird' doesnt' scare me off. IMHO, tongue clipping and tongue studs are both weird, it just so happens one I wouldn't do, and the other i might try.

not trying to judge there mate. I'm not so high and mighty to admit that my sh1t isn't always on straight.
