Haven't even come close. Just got it a few days ago, and want to become more familiar with its handling limits before I even venture that way. I got my stang up to 135 once, and needless to say I could hit that with the greatest of ease in this thing. The Z06 is supposed to top out somewhere in the 170s, who knows how high I'll be able to take it before I sh!t in my pants and slow down, hehe.Quote:

Ohh yes the Lingenfelter hauls some serious ass if I reckon it has the 427 Twin turbo engine what produces 802hp, 866torque, the 0-60 time I think is around 1.96-1.97 and the quarter mile is 8.93sec@153mph.

how is it possible to shift 2 times in under 2 seconds? does 2nd or 3rd gear take it to 60? i don't see how with that kind of power it would be possible to even clutch properly. is it an automatic?Quote:

Who ever said you have to shift before 60mph. I am not sure on the ligen but I know my avatar (the lambo) the gearing is specific so the redline/shift point hits around 63mph. So they can get a better 0-60run.

And also, this car is a used 2002...I wanted a used car for a number of reasons: first all american cars depreciate like nothing else, so by buying a car that's a year old I skipped the worst depreciation year, the first, and get a better deal. Second, regarding doc's comment about lemons, well, by buying a car that has 20K miles on it that is in good shape, one can infer that it is certainly not a lemon.
So, I have lower monthly payments than I would have if I had bought new, and I get a car that is pre-broken in to be sure that it has held together for at least this long, hehe.
Strut that is very good advice, I have bought one new car and I will never do it again unless I make over 100k a year. You can get used cars sooooo much cheaper.
