Im back after 2.5 years..............and it feels GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!
And it feels GREAT!!!! After a series of falls, losses and an injury I gave up. I didnt care anymore. After 15 years as a gym rat, I was a couch potato for the first time in my life. Well, I got back on the horse about a week ago and life is really looking up for me. I would have never been able to fully appreciate the gym / exercise if I hadnt quit for so long. So, I guess its a good thing, though I still think 2.5 years is pretty excessive, but "nothing exceeds like excess".
PROPS TO ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHERE THAT LAST QUOTE CAME FROM.

I took six years off because of a spinal injury and got back to the gym at the beginning of this year. My body had become a nightmare, but I almost have it back to an acceptable level. Glad to hear you made it back!

It sucks just gettin back in huh?!! Im all weak and pewny. I used to be the fitness director and personal trainer where I live and Im ashamed to show my face errrr body in there now so Im just starting with push ups n pull ups, lunges with my wife on my back etc.. at home. At least until my nervous system is reconditioned. I went the gym one time about a week ago and tried to bench the 100's. I was sure I could at least get one still...........NOPE!!! the guy spottin me did almost the entire rep for me. EXTREMELY HUMULIATING!

It never gets old. I love when someone comes over that has never seen it. I get all excited and make them sit down, shut up and watch the mother F'n movie. If someone talks at all during the movie I pause the movie until their done then rewind it to before they started talking. Kinda a dik move, I know, but thats my pet peeve.

Lol..thats funny.
I put in a big Jacuzzi in my bdrm, and on the wall I hung a huge poster of Tony sitting in his Jacuzzi with the quote "I worked hard for this. I need nobody"...I loved it. hehe.
When selling the house, the realtor wanted me to take the poster down, I refused..lol. If they have something against my boy Tony, fvck´em.
