I bumbled mine too. Problem was I was totally lit, didn't prepare, and more or less just kinda raised my glass and said something like... here's to the bride and groom.... woo hoo!
yeah, it sucked. Plus i was like 19 at the time. something like that...

if you are not the speach kinda guy, then here are some thoughts... (if you really want to do it right)
    1) Write it down
    2) Keep it to 60 seconds or less
    3) read it into a tape recorder... if it is more than 60 seconds, edit it until 60 seconds
    4) memorize it perfectly (remember, you might be lit)
    5) practice it 10 times a day until you know it frontwards and backwards

    Good Luck!

btw... this is also how i prepare for a job interview. works like a friggin charm!

there are tons of websites with speech templates and shit. Just google it, you can add all your own stories and personal stuff. That's what I did! Aced it! Highly recommend it bro.

Cheers bro sounds like a plan, I've never done a speech before but can remember at school I weren't one for standing in
Front of the class and that was only 15 kids let alone 100 of my family and friends!!!!!. I can see me hitting the floor.

please don't take this the wrong way, but he picked YOU as his BEST man?

forget about anecdotal stories of shared history. Instead focus on how happy you are for him, what a wonderful bride he picked, and then throw in a joke at the end, something like...

.... now let's form a single file line here folks... no pushing, no shoving.... it's time to kiss the bride! and btw.... me first!!

    something like that?
