    My good friend is now Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals!!

    Mike Matheny will be formally introduced tomorrow as the Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals!!
    We grew up together and played baseball together in High School. I was 2 years ahead of him, but he made varsity as a sophomore and i was the #1 pitcher in our rotation. He caught for me and everyone else.
    So cool that a good friend of mine has officially made it to Big's. Not that he already didn't, he's just taking it to another level now!
    Just had to share..

    I'm not a Cards. fan, but I LOVE Baseball. I can see season tickets in ur future.......................hopeful eh!?!

    I went to Busch Stadium several times to see him and he always hooked me up. I don't know about season tickets, but i do know he takes care of the Hyatt, dining, tickets and parking. I pay for none of those.

    Yep...And the funny thing is, i actually went to the library in 8th grade and checked out a book from Nolan Ryan. It was basically a "how to pitch" seminar. Well, after many days of trying Nolan's technique's i finally got them down. And i was pretty good. My hero, outside my father, is Nolan Ryan. He's a hell of a man and has his shit together!
    But i have to go for my friend and local boy making it BIG!
