planning on going to thailand in a few months. going to spend 8 weeks training over there. can anyone recommend good gyms/ places to train?

I know when I was in Thailand I did a lot of training. Horizontal mombo training mostly.

What was the question? It sounded more like a statement. If you are asking where to buy gear it's not allowed to give any specifics. Where are you going to be staying? There are plenty of pharmacies in BKK, more in Pattaya and Jomtien but not many in places like Phuket unles you know where to go.

Ive heard it's getting a little harder to find some places than before but of course still available, you just have to know what you are looking for and ask around. Get to know some of the local guys at the gym, I'm sure they will share.

Yes you can but there is something to be said about walking into most any bar and there being more girls than guys, 5/1 and being treated like a celebrity. It's tough to say no (I never tried) when they are asking you to go with them. LOL

Most people are pretty happy using Tony's gym. Dont get talk into any long term membership no matter how good the price sounds. One week at a time is good and maybe a month if you are staying that long. ALWAYS get a receipt. Some of the workers like to try to give special deals with receipt then you are screwed later when you cant show proof of membership.

On the other end of the main drag (Walking Street) make sure to stop in at Secrets and tell Larry the manager I said Hello (Lovbyts). It's right next to Angel Witch, a good, fun show bar with some good acts, very entertaining.

The Beach at Pattaya sucks as far as a beach goes but it's OK for lounging. The beaches 10 minutes down the road at Jomtien are much better but still not 1st class or as good as Phuket. The water park down the road is good for a few hours of fun if you are into that and there is a little go cart, ract track about 5 minutes away.

There are plenty of good places to eat in Pattaya on the waterfront but dont be afraid to visit some of the little hole in the walls in the alley ways, You can eat,drink for 4 people for about $5

Lucifer's is in about the middle of walking Street and is a OK disco. Gets pretty crowded and loud but not bad. Watch out for the lady boys and when you use the restroom if you choose to use the wall urinals dont be surprised when some young Thai guy walks up behind you and gives you a shoulder massage while you take care of business. LOL I was pre-warned so I quickly duck into a stall but it was fun to watch my buddies reaction when some guy walked up behind him to help him relax. hahahahaha

Tony's gym's okay. I trained there a few times. Some of the equipment is below par but it will do the job.

Have you been to Pattaya yet kritta? I am writing a feature about Aussies heading to Thailand to do cycles. I know that with currrent drug bans in Australia (and customs clampdowns etc) more and more people are doing it.

I just caught the meaning of your post due to the picture. I think you had better watch the program again and get your facts straight. What does Thailand have to do with it except for the fact that's the airport they landed in since Cambodia doesn't have a commercial airport. Cambodia is where the did their investigation, not Thailand.

It does because one of his episodes he investigated child predators in Cambodia but most everyone thinks it was Thailand because at the beginning of the show they land in Bangkok airport. After that they went to Cambodia where they investigated people going there for sex tourism such as some doctor they interviewed. It's really quite sad if you watch it. Much more so than the idiots on the to catch a predator shows. Got to love the one where the guy walks in naked. lol

Yeah I have seen EVERY one at least 5x. They show them repeatedly on msnbc at night. I got part of it figured out also why they can prosecute so many of these guys, they get them to cross state/county lines so it becomes a felony instead of just a misdemeanor. You notice they always drive for 2+ hrs to get there...
