    Ghetto Slang Talk

"Real talk"..."Whats good yo".."Yo I got swag".."What up".."Yo nigga".."Wutz rly good.".."One"... I fvcking hate people that talk like this. I will not respond to anyone who speaks like this to me. I don't understand how someone could use this sort of language and feel that their existence is meaningful or something. This is not a race thing either...I have seen just as many fvcking white idiots use this kind of language too. When I see or hear someone using this sort of language, I literally want to rip their fvcking head off and stomp on it.......I can't be the only one who this bothers.

I happened upon " the real housewives of Atlanta" and was shocked at the amount of " ghetto slang talk". Presumably when you're educated and have that kind of money you speak properly. ( Not racist either, speaking that way reveals more about someones simple-mindedness than their race)

Hey have you perhaps ever thought to your-self that "those people" could just be a product of there environment? That "Maybe" the unfortunate events that have given them or their parent no choice but to live in what is called the "Ghetto", thus has created a variety of variables which include characteristically traits and mannerisms which then result in the mirroring of speech paterns that are exibited and-or interpreted to be of a lesser education! ok so with all that said I trully CANT STAND individuals which where never raised in that environment, that then exhibit terms of speech that would suggest they themselves are a product of the environment of which I spoke of earlier. Therfore the true reason of which the "poser" would "intentionally" develop "that language" would in my opinion be a result one theory, to put it in short, they want to fit in. for what-ever reason is your guess perhaps neglect, jealousy, anger etc. so my point in this small rant is, those who speak in that fashion & who've inentionally subjeced themselves to mimicking those ways of speech are simply insecure and need a hug or a serious but whipping...feel me na what i meen!!..

Doesn't matter where your from or how you were raised, people know better than to use "that language". When it comes to spelling or grammar, I understand some people did not have the chance to learn some basic English. However, speaking like a total fvcking moron is inexcusable (ghetto slang).

Noted Bronzer.. Maybe its all they know? i myself being in the education field for a decade have encounterd countless individuals that because of the "system" have had "that language" deeply imbeded in them.this is more-so true for individuals with learning probs such as special ed students who learn at a slower rate. again i agree in part with you, but reality shows that its not that easy to turn off your ghetto slang! no sence in going back your entitled to your opinion as i am to mine..

A lot of it is because people want to fit in..... They see a popular person within their circle talk like that so they pick up on it. Maybe their favorite rap artist talks like that.... or someone that they admire in some way. Or it just could be because they think it makes them sound tuff..... like in stacy's case hahaha

Only place worse is Paterson. Every night before bed I pray to god that place burns down. The only cool thing about Paterson is that you can borderline kill people in bars while bouncing, and the cops will pat you on the back.

Handicapped people are a different story. They are automatically born with a disadvantage. I have a friend who is slow and dyslexic. Some times I cannot understand a god damn word he says when he texts me, or hits me up on facebook. But it doesn't bother me, because I know it's not his fault. However what does burn me up is when I hold the door for some asshole wearing a XXXXL white tee, pants sagging down his ass, and a goofy fitted hat one who replies with "iight yo good looks." You can't sit there and tell me that he doesn't have the education of knowing that "thank you" is how you talk to people.

Dudeeeee she found her sole mate. I wish you had a facebook man. He's 6'2" 145lbs. Lives with his parents--no job, no career, no school, no car..just got out of rehab for roxies and is apparently a white "rapper" who is gonna make it "big." I view his facebook once a day just to get a good laugh. Yesterday's status: "Yooo some real talk is I don't wanna look like no juicehead with muscles and shit..tall and skinny is in..i gotta big dick and i dont need no juice or big arms to look good...niggas needa get a swag like mine."

You would think, but it works for us. We've been doing it for 4 years and we have a better relationship than anyone I know. I never have to worry about the common problems of..."you work to much, you never spend time with me, you're at the gym, we never do anything together, blah blah blah." We couldn't be happier. But agree this WOULD NOT work for most couples.

you are 100% right I totally agree.. most of them have a choice and know the proper way to speak and just choose to be lazy and rude BUT so many have lived talking in that manner for so long that even if they tried they cant do it.. there sentance structure is based on 3 grade speaking patterns, no one corrected them therfore its second nature.. but again your right, so many have been properly educated and just choose to talk in half words.. it burns me to see people with such potential just waste there lives, when we live in a country that if u bust your a$# you can make it "for the most part" bro i lived in a crazy crazy area in the bronx but my parents busted there tails and now two masters & post PhD work later i know there are no excuses only consequences.. imho Great thread and conversation

You know, some would say it's funny to hear an American complaining about the bastardisation or bastardization as you would say of the English language...

I know your a bouncer bronzer, do they let these guys in the clubs you work at? Around here you cant even wear a plain white tee into the club. There's no fitted hats, absolutely no sagging, clothes must be fitted. Basically if you look even remotely ghetto they won't let you in unless it's an absolute shit hole ghetto bar.
