    Check this....(sigh)

Was just looking at some other sites when i ran across this BS.

Guess that Bill that Obama signed is in effect (sigh).

McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker reports that Eric A. Hardt, 26, of Macomb has been arrested following an investigation involving the Department of Homeland Security and the McDonough County Sheriff's Office.

The joint investigation and arrest resulted from the interception of a package containing 1,000 tablets and 25 vials of Anabolic Steroids by Homeland Security.

The package was sent from China with the destination of Reeveston Drive in Macomb.

A sting operation involving the McDonough County Sheriff's Office and the Macomb, Blandinsville, Bushnell and Colchester Police was set up at Hardt's residence on Reeveston Drive, where he was arrested in his vehicle with the open package containing the Anabolic Steroids .

Liquid Hydrocodone and numerous syringes were seized from the residence.

Hardt has been lodged in the McDonough County Jail and is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession of Controlled Substance with the intent to Deliver (Anabolic Steroids) and Possession of Hypodermic Syringes.

An Oak Lawn man was arrested in Macomb Monday afternoon following an investigation involving the McDonough County Sheriff’s office and the Department of Homeland Security Customs Enfor***ent.

According to a press release issued by the McDonough County Sheriff’s office, the Department of Homeland Security intercepted a package, sent from China with a destination address of 713 Reeveston Drive in Macomb, containing 1,000 tablets and 25 vials of anabolic steroids .

$5000 bond is the kicker here, he will get probo/house arrest and some nice fines, possibly some jail time but nothing too bad. At least that's my guess i'm no lawyer.

Obama signed and modified the Homeland securities act which basically gives the government the power to declare just about anyone they suspect, as being a terrorist.

Upon this declaration...they can arrest you and put you in Guantano Bay...for a long time.

I don't think that will happen here.

But When was the last time you Heard of Homeland Security making an AAS bust?

(this is a little this bust BTW...WTF is Homeland doing getting involved in a small bust like 25 bottles?)

the syringes are a bs charge...a reason for LE to get a warrant to pursue other possible offenses.

but...check your state laws. might be needed.

...have to say that its really irritating to see money and time spent on these types of busts, while there are so many actual victom crimes and and state agencies that could put the funds to much more productive use *sigh*
