A cure for Night Sweats.......?
For the past two nights, I’ve been able to defeat the dreaded “night sweats”.
Ordinarily, when it is cold outside, back home, I’d have the ceiling fan on, and then a sheet over me to hold in some body heat.
But here, no overhead fan. And no top sheet. I have a bulky comforter, so when I strip down to go to bed, I just throw the comforter over the top of me.
Problem is, I wake up in a puddle a few hours later…. Not pleasant!
For the last two nights, I’ve reversed my strategy. Instead of stripping down, I put my Raider jammies on, some socks, and my Raider hoodie sweatshirt on. I also turn the heater up a tad to eliminate the temptation of throwing covers on top of me in the middle of the night. Then, I just throw my Raider blanket over me. It’s not thick, and has good aeration. And I fall asleep that way, on top of the bed. I think this works because with the comforter, warm air gets trapped and builds up heat. By sleeping on top of the bed the way I do, I get much better air circulation.
So far, so good. You might want to consider If you are in a similar situation.
I just want to point out though, this technique only works with Bona Fide NFL Raider Gear…. Accept no substitutes!! =)

No way I could do that. I'd go insane during the night.

I'd rather wake up in pools of sweat with my Patriots jammies on than dry in Raiders gear.

Sleep naked.

i sweated like a mofo when i first started trt for about 6 months..happy to say it went away once my body fully adjusted...but i'm still definitely "hotter" than i was pre trt...no more cold hands and feet..love that

even before TRT, i was a furnace. in the winter time, I'd have the celing fan on and only a bed sheet to cover me up. woman says she can feel my body heat from a foot away.

You know it's funny if you think about it. People who live in HOT country dont walk around 1/2 naked most of the time. You tend to sweat less if you have clothes one as TR suggest.
Part of it is just getting use to things also. I sweated for the first 3 years, not not so much, almost never.

had to sleep on the recliner again last night. woke up in a puddle of sweat in the bed. starting to get the hang of it. I believe it is the official NFL Raider Jammies that does the trick?

I find the best way to stop the sweats is to stop the gear
But while on i was sleeping on towels and drying myself of when i woke up

yeah, it is the gear. I've been cruising for three weeks now. pretty damn rotten feeling to wake up and it feels like someone pissed the bed all over, then you realize yer the only one in the bed
