Then again, I saw the Grateful Dead cover a Merle Haggard song in concert. You know, the guy who did "Okee from Muskogee", blasting all of those goddamned hippies.

The cash version is good, and I am glad it is getting some air time with all the shit out there.

But NOTHING compares to Trent in concert finishing up a set with it...

who ever thought dave matthews would cover kryptor child by manson back in the day?

i admire artists who surprise fans with genres that have no relation to their money making sound...as a musician i have an ecletic taste in music so i appreciate most songs if they have well thought lyrics or good rhythm/harmony.

i have heard that particular cover and i like it as well

Hey I got Garth Brooks doing a cover of "Hard Luck Woman" by KISS and it sounds damm good! (specially considering country/western is not quite my favorite).

I guess you never can tell how good a cover will be until you hear it.

Some suck bad (like Pearl Jam doing the who's "My Generation"), others are amazing (like Yngwie Malmsteen doing Gimme! Gimme! Gimmie! - a god damm Abba Cover!!!)

He tore it up, NINs version was the best of course, but that old guy knows his shit. Its a dammmn good cover if you ask me.

Anyone heard the Korn's ADIDAS cover? They play it on hip hop radio stations and it eats at my soul everytime I hear it... its fuking HORRIBLE to say the least.
