Starting winny soon...excuses to tell someone why you suddenly quit boozing

My girlfriend and I like to go out on saturday nights and have few drinks together. We usually get a bite to eat somewhere and hit a bar or club afterwards. But you see, I will be starting winny in May and don't think drinking liquor while taking a 17aa AS would be a good mix. I'm sure everyone agrees. So I wanted to get some ideas what everyone tells their significant other to hide the truth why I "all of a sudden stopped drinking." These excuses will not only probably be very interesting (since some of us can really bullshit) but very helpful too...Usualsuspect

PS She's already suspicious of things so I don't want this to be the straw that broke the camel's back

because of your weekend boozing w/ her if you keep drinking!she'll prob let you juice,have a threesome,and give you blowjobs on command!!!oh, when you live after the year is up, just tell her the doctor made a mistake:unsure:

Tell her you'd like to quit drinking to increase your spirituality and when she has a puzzled look on her face like "what the hell" that's when you bitch slap her scrawny malnutritioned ass over the fkn handrails at the bar. And when she gets up crying hug her. Then she'll probly ask what the hell that was for so bitch slap her again and explain to her that Ghandi says "a wise one asks no questions about sobriety"

Hell use the ole excuse I use, I am working out and training hard, and I gave up drinking while I am in training. Works for me everytime.

All good ones so far but i was thinking of maybe trying this one: "So Usual, I noticied your not drinking again tonight...seems awfully strange...is there something wrong?" "Well honey, nothing is wrong at all, let me explain. I friend of mine was telling me the other day how he gave up liquor for a few wks and him and his lady started having the best sex ever. So I figured I would take his word for it and give it a shot myself." (Right before I discreetly pop 2 viagras and wash it down with a glass of cranberry juice.) She being loving that. But I still have time to think of some more, so keep em coming...US

Just drive those nights and/or weeks your on. When I drink i drink hard and for me having just a few won't even give me a buzz. So in my eyes if i'm driving its not even worth buying a drink or two cause its just wasting money. Not that i don't enjoy a beer after school or sex or work lol but when i go out; i go out to party! which means gettin trashed, and if i have 3 or 4 it just makes me want more. So to prevent putting myself on a downer and wasting money i just don't drink at all

I would go with the training hard one. Say you are pissed that you aren't getting as cut as you want and you are changing the way you do things, gonna stop drinking, eat better, more cardio, ect and when she see's the results of the winny she will be impressed and think it is all because of you changing your ways.

it's easy:

1- buy your drinks at the bar by yourself. order cranberry juice claim it's a crantiny

2- before you quit go out with her and get extremely drunk, boardering on alcohol poisoning, make sure you in her car and get very sick to your stomache ensuring you get some on her car mats not anywhere else as it's a bitch to clean out. 3 days later when you able to move with out puking again go see her and tell her your swearing off booze for a while.

i second this as a great idea...i have used excuses comparable in the past and people really do notice if they think you are upset with your training.

exactly, alcohol inhibits protein synthesis, it dehydrates you, plus it's full of empty calories ( i think 9 calories per gram). beer has like the highest glycemic index possible. It's good to have solid reasoning to back up your lies.
