Whitney Houston Dead At 49...
She is no longer saving all her love for you.....
I'm sure the coroners report will read like a who's who on the drug toxicology report. Like has been discussed on the board before it seems the feds are ok with all the billions of illegal drugs coming over the border, just not steroids cause they kill. So her death has to be steroid related since she died...

I make way too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get one thing straight. Crack is whack.

Sad, man all that talent and fame and money and where did it get her? Some people cant handle the pressures of fame and fortune and turn to drugs for comfort and escape. Problem is the escape almost always turn permanent.

Not to get all sentimental about it, but she had a voice that would give me goose bumps.......really is a shame. All too common unfortunately.

Sad. Being in touch with one's emotions can be a rabit hole. Expression usually results from introspection.

One of the Reasons Whitney got involved with Bobby Brown was over social pressure.
IN 1989 Whitney was "booed" by the Soul Train audience for pandering to White audiences....and not being "Black enough!"
IN 1992, she bowed to that pressure and married a low life scumbag piece of trash who happened to be Black. And that my friends....was the beginning of the end. You know the story from there....but you probably didn't know why she married his dumb shit box arse.
Unfortunately, he introduced her to Crack...and some people...never beat crack cocaine (or many other addictions)....their bodies and minds aren't strong enough.
RIP Whitney Houston...one of my favorite singers!

I dont remember which superbowl it was but she sang the national anthem and all i remember was the hair on the back of my neck stood up. The players were lined up and by the end 75% of them had tears running down their face. It was the most amazing rendition of the star spangled banner i ever heard.
Its sad really. I dont think its fame. Proportionally speaking people die all the time from drugs...we just notice more when they are famous. Also its harder to understand when they have money and talent - 2 things most people think would surely make them grateful and happy. The truth is if you are unhappy with yourself , no matter how rich or talented , the results can be devastating.

She had a beautiful voice. Can't say I have much sympathy though. She made bad choices

"Bobby Brown breaks down after hearing the news of Whitney"
Hardly seems like an appropriate time to start dancing...

They are saying she drowned. She took Xanex to relax before the awards and because she drank heavily the night before she fell asleep/passed out in the bath.

At least she went out on a high note....

Ill give it that she was talented. But i dont get why people get all upset or there is a tribute to a drug addict that got fvcked up and died. They did it for Micheal Jackson too.
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Even if they are not a drug addicted mess why do people get upset? I dont remember ever shedding a tear over someone I didnt personally know in some way. It may be tragic, a loss or before their time but how does it effect my life?
To many people just like to be drama queens.
On another note, I think this was pretty cool as a tribute to her.

Ehh....what i'm hearing is that many of you don't appreciate or admire True Talent....if you did you would feel remorse for loosing that talent....especially if it brought you joy and happiness.
With all the Shit bird bands and Gotdayum BS so called "Music" i have blaring at me...i am sad. It reminds of what this fvked up world has to offer...which is very little in the way of true talent. I remember listening to her when i was in college...and makin out to some of her music. Yep....i get it...we lost a great talent. RIP Whitney.
"When you're the focus of attention no matter where you are, 24/7, I think it can get to some people," he said. "It's the only reason I can imagine why she would get into drugs and alcohol. It doesn't make sense to me. She had everything."
-thats' a quote from some guy who used to play in a band with her in the early 80's.Last edited by tcw; 02-13-2012 at 11:02 AM.

Drugs kill everybody but we pretend its not an issue in this country

Supposedly not enough water in the lungs to cause drowning. Died from the drugs. We will see when official word comes out.
Just to show how old I am...I had her first album on cassette. Despite all my friends cracking gay jokes. Amazing talent gone bad...like Mariah. Had her first album on cassette too I think.Last edited by JohnnyVegas; 02-13-2012 at 09:11 PM.
