Sorry that happened to you bro I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was. I have a friend who, similar to you, got in a car accident and broke his leg and for extended period of time thereafter one leg was larger than the other specifically in the calf. It's been a few years now and I can't tell a difference anymore but did take in quite a while rehabbing and building up that muscle tissue after having it inactive for so long Just don't give up, keep working on it and it'll eventually work it's way back to the correct proportion. All the best bro and good luck.

I have been there but not due to broken leg. I always had pretty nice legs if I say so myself without working out even. One of my buddies was jelous because I had natural good calves and he worked his hard and they were only 1/2 the size.

I ruptured a disc in my back, L5-S1 and I was pretty much paralized from my waist down for 2 weeks. I honestly could not walk more than 10 sec max and the pain was unbearable unless i was laying down and very doped up. In that 2 weeks time my calves went from very nice to non existence due to lack of circulation and atrophy.

It took a few months after the surgery before I could even do calf raises but now 3 years later they are back better than ever. Yes they will come back with some work. I use to walk around on my toes a LOT the first year. Standing doing calf raises, sitting, walking extending my steps to work the calf etc.
