    Here is a good read

    https://digital.lib.washington.edu/d...pdf?sequence=2

As I read the paper, basically the story is this. An 18-year-old was admitted for chemical therapy to correct a height deficiency. The first part of his therapy was typical and significantly improved his height. Towards the end of his therapy, at about 22, his FSH was elevated while Testosterone was depressed. The result was his testicles increased in volume by 50% -- from 20ml each to 30ml each -- in just one year. Once his testosterone level returned to normal, this increase in size was maintained. The theory behind this seems to be that FSH stimulation in the absence of testosterone leads an increase in Sertoli cells in the testicles. When FSH and testosterone are both present (eg. normal adult males), Sertoli cells do not increase.
