Here's a quick story I know you'll appreciate.

Now I've always maintained it's obviously always awesome to have chicks perve on ya. But when blokes look at you and you can see the look in their eyes as if to say, 'you prick, I wanna look like you!!' that in my opinion is even better. DON'T GET ME WRONG I aint gay, but when you are in such good form that you have the same sex look as if they've been slapped in the face with a wake up call it's a bloody good compliment. I've looked and dudes with that same feeling of inspiration and annoyance at the same time.

I was at the local shopping centre today. Just after a workout, in singlet and shorts. BTW I am slap bang in the middle of a sust cycle. A young dude in his mid 20's drove by with a mate of his, saw me walking, and actually stuck his head out and looked back with that stunned look on his face. That to me is a moment in my training journey. I never got that being natural, it seems as though steroids really do help provide that edge!

Ha! Cheers guys, yep, reading my post back yep, I guess I'm asking for it. I remember when I first started out in this game 15-20 years ago, I read an article on roids. I remember reading a story about a guy in the same position as myself, I think he was a footballer or something, and he said every summer he had chicks checking him out which is obviously awesome. That's why I started gym. But then when he got his sh..t sorted with anabolics and his physique changed, that next summer he had guys looking at him as if you say (I will put it bluntly) 'you c...t!' And he commented that when you reach that next level to have blokes react that way, it's another level of physique. Now I dunno about any of you reading this, but have you honestly not looked at a guy and thought 'bloody hell' that looks awesome, and be inspired, or so pissed off you wanted to head to the gym and work out.

Now I am definitely not saying I am in professional form, no where near, but we watch guys up on stage in d..k jocks for crying out loud, and we look at them in awe. I am sure if you saw Phil Heath, or even some dude in ridiculous form on the street that you too wouldn't pop you head out the window and be shocked and/or inspired!

Again I am not saying I am a Phil Heath, but I am sure you can appreciate what I am saying?

We check out before and afters on these forums, ask for other guys opinions on our physiques, pose in d..k jocks on stage, one guy even replied on this thread that he wants to see my physique!!! Yet I am the one that is supposedly gay??? Interesting perspectives I say. Why do we even take roids? Is it because we are trying to look a certain way? What if you saw the exact physique you wanted walking down the street. Are we not so passionate about this sport that you wouldn't turn your head?

If not, them I humbly accept the gay jokes. I guess I have that sh..t comin'. And if that's the case I am gonna lay low on these forum boards for a bit ha!

I see exactly what you're saying n I bet 99% of the people here feel the same way. Most of us got in this game to get laid and it's pretty obvious we like the compliments from women. But it is also much more common and easier to get compliments from girls than straight dudes.
When a guy genuinely comments on your physique or size it is nice to hear, now sticking their head out of their window to gaze at your meat, thats another story.
But when one of your boys or a dude at the gym comes up n says "damn bro, you're lookin huge" or somethin along those lines it does make you feel good. Many girls are easily impressed by the size of biceps or ab definition, but are clueless as to overall physique. When dudes start complimenting you, you have reached another level.

A compliment is a compliment. Takes a confident man to openly express and admire another mans physique, to be respected and acknowledged like an adult.
