    are we all obsessed ?

i logged onto this forum while i was just hanging out with a buddy of mine, and he saw that i was on this forum and started laughing and said that i was "obsessed" with training/ dieting and all that. he said i take it too far to even sign up for a forum like this.

i really didnt know what to say, because i couldnt say no but at the same time i couldnt agree with him

    any thoughts on this?

I dont see it as an obsession. It is more of a lifestyle i choose to live. I put time into being healthy and caring about my body. Even if it is seen as an obsession i would not consider it a bad one and there are a lot worse things i could be obsessed about

Tell him he is stupid if he doesnt research and learn about most anything he is interested. Does he expect people to just know everything automatically? If so he is just a fool thinking he already knows it all. I would let a lot more people see this forum if it didnt have the name it does or the banners at top because most people are to ignorant to see past a name and would be quick to judge. There is a wealth of information here in regards to most anything health related and I have not found a better site.

    Well said.

I have this site as an app on my IPhone. Along with dozens of other apps. Am I obsessed with all of em?

Does your buddy train? Has he ever lifted weights?

I don't see why people "diss" something they don't know or have never tried.
