I saw that on the car blogs a while back. Unbelievable. I dislike belligerent people in general.

Funny pollution story: a friend of mine went to a national park (Zion?) with some other Lamborghini owners...and discovered upon arrival that it was Earth Day. While filling up his gas tank at whatever town was nearby, he saw a bunch of people talking and pointing. One of the girls came over and started telling him how bad his car was for the environment and he responded by telling her it had been converted to run on used vegetable oil (a common thing, using used french fry oil and such). She goes back to her group and tells them about the conversion. He fires up the car, and everyone in the group waves and gives him the thumbs up as he pulls away. They obviously know nothing about cars of they would have realized he was lying when they heard it...or smelled it.

Related story: went to a poker game with the same guy and we went in his car. After about an hour of playing, one of the guys asks how he got the car. He said he won it in a poker game. Nobody questioned him and everyone was more cautious with their betting for the rest of the evening.

It isn't that he is full of crap, it is like this forum in that a million people all ask the same five questions and eventually you have fun with it. What is it? How much did it cost? How long have you had it? How fast does it go? Wanna race? Wanna trade?

Love it! I loved the little kid sticking her face out like she was watching an animal at the zoo. The truck owners were very trusting, specially with round 2. I would have assumed hostile intent when she came around the back at my wife.

The looney tune is a classic example of psychological displa***ent. She most likely has no voice in her job or marriage to express her grievances. Like a boiling kettle she seeks relief. Along comes a relatively soft target like a family with a small child and boom! The car and the noise were incidental details.

I would have just revved the engine over her obnoxious voice. The guy was way too nice ... Telling her what he does for a living ... None of her fuking business. I believe she brushed the truck on the 2nd pass. That's where the camera would be turned off, and I would make damn sure she was removed from being anywhere near the kid.
