How Short People can get TALLER!!!

Alright, that title probably was a little misleading, but you got to checkout this article about a surgery short people can do to make themselves taller. They have a video on that link too.

OK I have not looked yet but I hope it's not where they cut the bones in the legs and lengthen them or put the bone stretching devices on them.

What ever happened to just hanging upside down? lol

Update: Yup that's what I though. Have you seen the movie Gattaca? Good movie and relevant.

My dads really short. I lucked out at 5'11, same height as our mailman.

A father listened to his 3 year old daughter say her prayers while going to bed. At the end she said, "God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Grandma and goodbye Grandpa."
The father thought saying goodbye Grandpa was a bit odd, but the next day, to his amazement, grandpa died and he thought it a strange coincident.
A couple of months later he heard his daughter say, "God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy and goodbye Grandma." The next day when Grandma died, the father was sure his daughter was in touch with the "other side."
About a week later he heard her say, "God bless Mommy and goodbye Daddy."
He really got tense, didn't sleep all night and left the house to go to work. He watched everything around him and stayed in his office. He figured if he could make it till midnight, he would survive. At the end of the day, he felt safe in his office so he stayed there until the clock struck 12:00. Relieved, he went home. When he entered the house, his wife asked why he had worked so late. He said, "you can't believe what a bad day I've had." She interrupted him and said, "you think you had a bad day? The milkman dropped dead on the porch today.

I have zero athleticism... I only excelled at sports that didn't require fine tuned coordination and where I could just throw my body around, like football and rugby... lol

You don't have to be an athlete to play center. You just need to be tall and can dunk.

According to the study the surgery does not guarantee the patients "short man syndrome" will be cured.

It does make you smarter. After doing it one time you will NEVER do it again so in fact you have learned something and you are smarter.
You still arent as smart as us who knew NOT to do it in the first place but some people need the first hand experience to learn.

The real problem is MOST short people could not afford it. There are always exceptions like Danny Deveto but it's proven that the taller you are the more you make on average so the shorter you are the less you make.

Most of these types of surgeries they say are done on children (poor kids) who have birth defects and the parents/insurance pays for it. For a normal person to do it $$$$
