    Question about Vicodin (legal prescript)

Anyone ever worked out while taking this stuff? I had surgery on my upper jaw to place an implant seeing as I took out my tooth with a jelly bean. Now I've been on it to obviously reduce the ridiculous amount of pain that drilling into a bone causes, but my workouts have been absolutely insane. It's like I am on some intense thermogenic or something because I sweat like a pig when I am working out. Also I seem to have limitless energy and intensity, it's kinda cool. Just wondering if anyone has ever had any similar experiences. ONLY LEGAL TALK HERE I DON'T CARE IF YOUR A PAIN PILL JUNKIE!

Maybe they just put you in the zone? Could help you concentrate and focus if you are a tad A.D.D. I have had clammy sweat from Vicodin, was able to race motocross while on them... "The Zone".

Ive been doing it (working out while taking vicodin) for 4+ years. Doesnt do much for me except cut the pain as intended a little.

Idk, one of my friends broke his leg, and had a script to vicodin or something, and he said he could fvck or jack off for ever and not get off. I know thats some odd a$$ info, but it relates to the changing of internal regulation and mental changes i guess.

No I have not yet gone to the dark side! Think the only thing I've taken is IGF/Albut/Clen, but I am not on any of it atm. Thing is when I take the stuff it is like I am so dulled out that I don't feel the muscle fatigue/failure and I can get like 2-3 extra reps on my maxes its weird lol.

Yeah I had some left over after I broke my back and they helped my workouts and I wasn't able to buff when having sex either.

Hahaha ya funny how it affects you. Vics n Percs turn me in to a gd sex god. The overall feeling is much more intense, but can't get off to save my life. I can literally pound away for hrs at full attention but still can't finish.
Same with urinating. I'll have to piss soo bad it actually hurts, but then I stand over the toilet and nothin happens. I'll be sittin there for a few min cheerin him on n giving motivational speeches before I can sneak a few drips out.

No clue how you guys work out on it.. They work great for pain relief, but there's no way in hell I could go to the gym.

Well the upside to goin to the gym while on pain pills is that if you drop the weight on you... at least you wont feel it..? lmao

Mine put me to sleep. Recently had my wisdom teeth out and received a script. It was the first time ever taking anything other than advil. They work like a charm but I couldn't imagine lifting within a few hours of taking them. Does anyone else get the weirdest dreams from them?

I've taken them and had the same experiences. I took it before I worked out & felt a little more "energy" to lift, could do a couple more reps at a slightly heavier weight, plus I would be soakin from sweatin like a pig. It was an unreal amount of sweating. The bangin like a porn star is unreal too! My wife started thinkin I was either cheating or she didn't turn me on anymore cause I couldn't bust lol.

Hmmmmm well maybe that explains why I have always been able to last so long without ever using any V since I have been on a low dose 1 or 2 as needed per day for the last several years. I do cycle off of them for as long as possible ever few months but eventually I end up needing them again. DAMN youth and trying to destroy my body multiple times.

I often wonder what happens to those guys you see in motocross later in life who have wrecked multiple times, have multiple injuries and surgeries. They must have hella pain later in life or be on mass pain meds. I'm not sure how you function like that.

I have to go to a pain clinic ever 3 months to get new prescriptions and get checked out. Most of the people I see there are walking zombies. I make sure my woman and close friends are watching and let me know if I ever start to get to that point. Most of those people are taking 6-8 a day of the 10mg stuff. I'm only taking 1 - 2 max on bad days of the 5mg.

Long term use is A LOT easier on your liver if you take the kind with no acetaminophen (the yellow ones). I guess that would be straight up hydrocodone. If I got it right Vicodin is just a trade name for hydrocodone mixed with acetaminophen.

I take the white ones, hydocodone but low tylenol dose so it's not as bad on the stomach/kidneys. I also get my kidneys/liver function tested ever 6 months or less.

Pain killers have different effect on everyone,I do dental surgeries every day... Don't know how intense your workout is but you should not have been lifting couple days. By now you shouldn't need them, but completely normal to feel that way ! One of the reasons people do get addicted!

I took 3 days off from lifting after the surgery. But I've had some horrible inflammation and my front two teeth became extremely loose leading to even more severe pain, and therefore ending up taking the pills for about 3 weeks. This was last month, it was just something I thought of talking about earlier this week. It was curiosity I am no longer taking any vicodin, but I was curious if anyone had ever had similar experiences.

I have gotten energy from them also, didn't take longer than a month. I've seen to many people like them to much and get hooked anyway that good feeling will end and all you have left is a habit and eventually you will stop hitting gym and you life will change for the worse ..... good luck stop now before any addiction starts

They switched me to oxycodone for my back years ago because the only thing Vicodin would do for me is give me a really upset stomach. Even if I took it with food.

It doesnt do MUCH for me be works so I stick with it. I have used Percoset also in the past and it was about the same but a little more fogy feeling. I have not tried Ocycotin yet, not sure if I want to. There is a new FDA approved pain med called Opana that is 2x as strong as Oxycotin.

Does it relieve the pain without the fogginess?

So, how many days/weeks do you think you need to come off it to prove there is no addiction but it's just for pain management? Sucks always hurting. I actually have not used any for a little over a week. it would be nice to not need it at all but I know it wont last, I'm bound to tweak myself again soon. lol

Honestly anti inflammatory do more for me than pain meds. I'm sure I have arthritis and this helps manage it but so far the test show nothing such as Rheumatoid arthritis but xrays show I have a LOT of arthritis in several of my joints like shoulders.

who are you trying to prove it to? I think your really the only person you need to prove it to. Addiction is really tricky. Lately I think there has been a push to educate everyone on prescription med addiction; in doing that everyone is worried that they are now addicted. If your in lots of pain, take them. If your pain is manageable then don't take them.

I agree that hurting all the time is miserable. I can't remember the last time I woke up feeling good but that's just the way it is. Just try to work on fixing the problems you can.

if u had a addiction problem u would know with in 5 hours of your last dose then u would stare going throw with draw it would normally take 1 to 2 weeks to go throw total detox after that its all mental i would stay off that stuff as much as possible

I like to prove to myself every now and again by going as long as I can without pain meds. Typically I make it a week or two before something creeps up ad needs help but on my good days/weeks it's nice to go without. I still hurt but it's manageable. I live with manageable as much as possible.

Ive never felt any withdraws from it. Never felt sick, no headaches, nothing different between day one or day 10+ Only difference is when something starts to hurt enough I want to mask it. I guess everyone has their limits. From what I hear most of the users are eating like 8 or more a day. I could not imagine how that would make you feel. Permanent Fog.
