Spartan Race

Anyone here try any of those spartan races if so what do you think there is a spartan race in P.A in July they are only having a spartan sprint witch is a beginner race (witch sucks) its going to be a 2 hour ride and cost a 100 bucks wondering if its worth the time?

they just completed the one down here in Ca. 8 mile run, 20 obstacles. If you finished high then you qualify for the spartan beast. I didn't have time to train for it this year but a buddy of mine entered. Didn't make the cut for the spartan beast and he himself is a beast when it comes to this type of challenge. I'll be training in the near future for the 12/1/12 challenge later this year.
