For the first time ever, the famous Green Jacket is being worn by a Canadian...and a left hander. Mike Wier beat Len Matiace in a playoff yesterday in Augusta to earn the coveted jacket and win his 3rd event of the season. Way to go Mike!!

It is always nice to watch when a Canadian takes the title, expecially in big events such as the Masters.
He is a good golfer...but has a funny ass swing....well actually it is noway near Jim Furyk swing...that shit is weird...
Congrats to Mike....![]()
I hear ya loud and clear on that one Butch. Furyk's swing plain is very odd, I have no idea how he doesn't slice eveything he hits! Regardless, he too played well yesterday, those greens looked as tough as hell to read...which is eveidenced by the relativly high totals. Mike's was the highest winning score in some time.Originally posted by Butch

I have had the chance to play some courses a few days after a PGA tournament...and let me tell you those greens are harder than anything i have ever been on....and talk about fast...it's like putting on a basketball court...Originally posted by Pete235
