I literally stared at the display case for 20 minutes in CVS and finally could not buy that razor. I ended up getting Bic Flex 4 disposables. Ideally id like to keep using them, and cop something good like the mach 3 turbo just for going out.

i jjust buy the cheap disposable twin razors from Costco.

not really sure why some blokes would spend the big bucks on something as silly as a razor? if yer carefuul, the twin razors do a fine job

and i put hand lotion in my shaving cup, and apply with my shaving brush. the shave is very close. the trick is not to use the same razor more than two or three ttimes.

What would be better for a whole body shave? I doubt a disposable will out perform a fancy razor.

^^this. I tried disposables and only got a few days out of em before they started pulling flesh. With the hydro I get about 2 weeks of nice smooth shaving.

Do you guys have anything special you do to prep your waistline? I get ingrown hairs like crazy around my waist from my pants rubbing. Looks like I have the hurps.

They say u get the bumps from your razor being old or bacteria on it. Some use alcohol to clean before shaving.
I use one fusion for face and one for body. Those disposable ones are risky even brand new imo

You know, a lot of days I have to pick between you and a backroom massage at the asian place for a pick me up. I just want you to know that 3 times out of 10, coming on here and hearing you speak wins out over Lucy Liu jacking my wonton.

I save my waistline area by only shaving it at bed time, smooth for the wife and a lot better than shaving it in the morning for guaranteed waist line rash,

The Hydro is probably one of the best shaves I've had. I have a Fusion Pro Glide and it's nice but I think the Hydro edges it out.

Do you shave? I thought you look like 1 of the numbers from zz top. LOL

I get mine from cosco also and yes the prices are still way too high. I keep saying I need to look for them online but I always forget until I run out.

It is nice that I get it least 5 or 6 she's out of 1 razor. It makes it a little more economical. I have 1 of the new with the vibrating heads. I have to admit I do like it.

Mach 3 is the best for me. I tried a bunch even the 4 blade etc... They are expensive. I have a bald head and I shave daily. I found that shaving daily will definitely help with the blade lasting a little longer since it's not working as hard. I tried to get some generic type refills and then it was just as bad as changing out even quicker and spending just as much. I resorted to the normal one and just had to deal with the $$

fusion pro glide for me, I only get 3 or 4 shaves before they gone though, if it pulls on my neck at all I'm left with a rash for a couple of days so fvck that I'd rather it cost more using more blades than going around with a rash on neck 24/7 and saving a few $$$

I love the Mach 3 but I quit using it after buying my first set of refills. Yes they were way too expensive to justify me spending that much on them. Back to disposables for a while now unfortunately, but at least I can afford them.

a few years ago i was listening to talk radio (clark howard) and he was talking about how if you dry the razor off after each time you use it (the individual blades with a dry towel or hair dryer, ect) they will last months...MONTHS. Before that i never got more than 3 uses before they started pulling hairs. I tried it reluctantly and sure as hell they stay razor sharp as long as you dry those blades off every time. but that's the trick, you have to do it every time. deposits from water dry on the thin blade and make it dull in no time. try it. nothing to lose. works on cheap disposables and spendy refills. (and there's no frackin way you'll hear this from the razor makers)

I've done this for probably a year or so now and have definitely noticed a longer blade life. Also, has anyone tried out the Dollar Shave Club? Seems like it would end up saving a ton of money if you're used to going through a lot of blades very quickly.

I do this and yes, they last much longer... I'm also a hairy bear so shaving can be costly. I highly recommend doing this.

Your BF didn't have a problem with you using his razor? My girl shaved her legs with my razor and didn't tell me before. I hacked the shit out of my face.
