Is bigger faster stronger worth watching?

Barely heard about this movie, guess its supposed to be a documentary. Is it worth my time? Figured I'd ask here because, even though it received good online reviews, I never trust those. If not is there a better doc than that?

I liked it. It did a lot to disprove AAS misinformation, but did show the negative effect it can have on relationships. It also took an interesting look at "cheating."

I also loved his take on supplement companies.

I liked it as well. Also showed it to a girl I was seeing that was a little on the fence on what I was doing. It helped.

Great documentary. Also unbiased. It shows AAS users are actually normal epople and not big junkies running around hitting people.

I wanted to like it but I thought it was horrible. I guess it could have been worse but the main guy didn't know squat about cycling. I was kinda fading out by the end but didn't he say all he did was inject Winny? I was hoping for much better I guess.

Awesome. Guess I have to watch it then. From the sounds of it, might have to find a way to get my girl to watch it too. I've brought up AAS and she's not too keen on the idea. Sounds like I'll give it a watch and work it through to her if I can.

I bought the DVD a long time ago before I did any experimenting. I wanted to see what others were saying about steroids because all I had heard was what the news media was reporting and that was all 100% negative. That steroids was worse than most other drugs and the high school kids were all addicted to them and they were being sold like candy to any and everybody and thousands were dying like flies due to steroid use . But after watching this documentary I learned real fast that all isn't what we have been told. Even if people were abusing illicit drugs and they also used steroids, the steroids were reported as what killed them not the other illicit drugs. It was like there was a big campaign out there to demonize steroid use altogether. So if anything after watching the documentary I did steroids. And the moral of the story is don't believe everything you read or see or hear. But check it all out for yourself and research before you plunge in. Too much of anything can be bad. The key is moderation and following a safe protocol. IMO And you can learn a lot right here on this site as it has a wealth of honest information to help you out every step of the way.

Definitely a good video, especially if you can convince someone to watch it who is misinformed and completely against steroid use .

i liked it but if you take someone who doesn't know a thing about steroids and they watch it, then they think its fine to do them just because they saw that movie.

Unless of course they watched the news media slant on steroids first and then the best you can hope for is an open mind. But usually if they see the medias negative slant first then they already have their minds made up that steroids=bad no matter what. It's kind of like Republican verses democrat A republican or democrat can do some wonderful things while in office but just because they are who they are, the other side wants them out of office. It's crazy how thousands have died from illicit drug use ie, heroin, cocaine, etc but maybe 3 have died from steroids, (guessing here) and we're really not sure there weren't contributing factors in those deaths. Of course the other side will say that the steroids indirectly caused hundreds of deaths and so the argument goes on. But we all know that if we abuse any drug it will eventually come back to bite us. Moderation under strict blood work guidance is always recommended with steroid use and that is only when both your body and mind are ready for it. Kudos to those who never use nor feel the need for them. Unfortunately most of us don't have those miracle genetics so we have to improvise...

Greg Valentino was spot on there.

I liked the video, but it wasn't the perfect documentary on steroids . I thought it was pretty good that the guy who made the movie is against gear, but he didn't let his personal opinion dictate how the movie was going to unfold. It was definitely a step towards cutting through the bullshit.

I haven't followed him since the movie came out. So I wouldn't know. I think he's probably just jealous that his little brother out-benched him.

I presume it was becuase he other brother commited suicide not long after the film came out. But I think that brother had more issues than just steoids you could see from the film he was kinda insecure in a lot of areas of his life.

His brother had serious drug problems and mental issues. I don't think anyone can honestly blame gear.

His brother was a mess. I really felt bad for his wife while watching the movie and thought about her when I heard he died. Sad story.
