Thinking about putting in my 2 weeks notice

I am really torn. I live in a small white trash town in a bumble f area. I moved here for a job. I do not want to be here anymore. Personality wise I like Florida and California type living - beaches and cities within a couple of hours. I am debating putting in my notice to go be a waiter somewhere. With the economy as bad as it is could I even get a job doing something like this somewhere? I am really unhappy, but in my personal life I have demonstrated a lot of immaturity and it would not be the first time I have done something like this.

How hard is it to get a job at a gym or at a gnc? I do not want to explore what I got my degree in anymore. I have been unhappy at every job related to my major.

Well if you know you can`t be happy there why not move but make sure you have the resources to hold you over.

You know too much about workin out n supps to work at a GNC.. a gym might be a good idea if some cool ppl work there..

I like just pickin up n movin to a new area, done it a few times myself.. new ppl, places, things to do.. n things always seem to work out. When I get tired n bored of life, change always picks me up

Tough question? so many different angles to consider. I would definitely have something set up before you put the rubber to the road brother.

I would say as long as you already have a job that can support your way of life lined up, go for it.

Good idea, then if you get caught you can get free room and board in the county jail and a job making license plates.

Ive done this once before and it worked out great. You do need to have some funds built up. You dont want your fresh start to be hampered by stress over money. Im ready for another one, my wife and I are working on getting set up to move to Florida in hopefully a year. Im worried about jobs though because of the way I look, its going to be tough. All I can say is try to be as prepared as you possibly can. Do your research and have a plan. Good luck if you do it.

x2.. there's nothing wrong with making a move but definetely have a game plan established and then execute your plan. What is your degree in, btw?

wow i would love to move some place warm and near a beach!
expensive locations though and the job market is really bad...i would def save up a few months living funds, luckily you have no kids to worry about

maybe narrow it down to a spacific local, than take some vaca time from work, visit the area to check out the market/ maybe job interviews...see if its a possibility?

    best of luck!
