News article on bodybuilding movie "Pain and Gain", featuring mark Wahlberg and Rock

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ing-movie.html

Rock is amazing shape, but in one of the pics, it looks like he either has small hands or a massive head.

Anywho, I didn't even know they were making a bodybuilding movie until stumbling across this article.

Nice it's about time. Personally I wasn't impressed with bigger faster stronger. I hope this 1 turns out good.

Pain and Gain stars the duo as 'a couple of Florida steroid-abusing knucklehead bodybuilders who become criminals involved in an extortion ring and a kidnapping plot that goes horribly awry'.
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

If Marky Mark is in it, it's going to suck. I heard the Rock had some pec implants, but I can't confirm that.

The article makes it out to seem like Wahlberg is scrawny, but the Rock looks like he has at least 6 inches of height over him. Marky Mark was never huge but he always had decent size!

True thay do, Marky has always been blocky, and I would imagine even though he is a good bit smaller I'm sure he'd kick the head off the rock in a real fight

The rock isn't really a fighter though. Besides being jacked doesn't make you a good fighter.

He does have a lot of physical training that would be beneficial as a fighter, and he was a football player. I wouldn't mess with him. Heh.

Agreed. I saw some pictures of Wahlberg in a different story about this movie. He was wearing a tank top and he was looking pretty big. I think he is larger for this movie than any other time I have seen him.

I never said being jacked makes you a good fighter, it's just the way the article was written you'd swear the Rock was some kinda fighting beast etc being all ripped etc.

Yeah, they go out of their way to make him out to be some fighting machine. Actually, I hear those pro-wrestlers are pretty good at fighting. People challenge them all the time.

I like watching the rock. Hopefully this movie is halfway decent. One thing that pissed me off and made me think he was an idiot or they have failure directors is he was trying to pick something up heavy once, and was like doing a bent over row trying to use his arms to lift it rather than his legs. It just made him look like an idiot and that he has no clue how to move weight, and made the show look even more fake than it already was.

you may not be able to throw the best combos as a pro wrestler but you can certainly take a beatin. Not sure Id want to fight someone who throws themselves off ladders a takes hits to the face with chairs.

But come on, who beat Brock up? Overeem. I sure as shit wouldn't start shit with Lesnar. There is that one wrestler New Jack, who's known for beating up on fans that try to step up to him when he goes to bars after the shows.
