I had a similar deal when I was younger. When I was 27, I was heartbroken and on the rebound from a breakup and stumbled on to a 52 year old cougar. She was Italian and looked quite a bit like Sophia Loren when she was in her early 50's. Not too bad, even from a 27 year old's point of view!

She was widowed for 10+ years and hadn't even been on a date since her husband had died. She owned a very successful restaurant in the town that I had lived in, as well as owning real estate up the ying yang! I remember her telling me, as we were sitting in her hot tub that overlooked the city lights, that I would never have to worry about money again for the rest of my life.

Partially because I was still in love with my last GF at the time (who was quite a bit younger BTW), and partially because I just couldn't see happiness with her as the years would have progressed. Dunno, maybe it would have turned out OK. She wanted to adopt a child and seemed to have it all mapped out. Anyways, to the OP, I guess for sake of looking at the long-term, I couldn't take one for the team. Hindsight being 20/20, who knows, maybe it would have all worked out somehow.

I came home from a business trip late on a Friday night and my roommate was having some people over. He's a younger guy and all of his friends are around 19-20. Nope never and I never would! well this girl starts pouring me drinks of this whiskey, i noticed she wasnt pouring herself any or making any refills, hmm. and thats where i start to kinda black out. next thing i know its 9 in the morning and im in bed by myself in one of the rooms, i quickly realized that i blacked out and said the ultimate cliche out loud, "what the **** happened last night" and that was followed by a internal whisper saying " thank god i didnt hook up with that chick" but before i could finish that thought i realized i was naked under the covers, and quickly throw them off and saw blood all over my dick area, and like out of a f*cking movie i hear the toilet flush in the bathroom and the chick walked out naked and said..
