Was the first taken with a caliper as well? I usually add a couple % to the caliper reading as they can be slightly off.. you look good man definietely see improvement. So maybe 12-13%? What are your goals?
please tell me you dont have a superman hat
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong
Well under 10% @225 would be my ultimate goal, I am well aware that I am aways from that, it comes in steps which I have learned. The biggest hurdle was going from 160 too 200 and keeping the same bf%. Im pretty sure I am going to have to start test/tbol to go the rest of the way. I want to just get to 210 first with just insulin and gh.

You can see an improvement but I don't think your anywhere near 9.5% Have you tried a bod pod reading they are $25 here.
Which thread is the pic of your readings in?

It's pretty sweet looks like a big egg you get in it and within minutes you have an accurate BF that doesn't leave much chance of user errorOriginally Posted by Razr.
leg shot? hard to tell from that pic. i'd say 12 from that photo
Thx Aus, Ill post a leg pic tomorrow
id say 12or so. its so hard to telli actual percent from pics especially when you get below 15
im gonna say around 12% tho IMO
I don't mean to hijack your thread bit do you think of those weight scales that do your bf through your feet and of coarse you put in your age and height. I think your bf looks really close to your measurement.
? I think u may be confusing bmi with bf%, the bmi calculation using height weight age on scales is absolute bs, it does not distinguish between body fat, muscle, bone density ect.. U could be obese and be at 8%bf...Originally Posted by big88sub
The scale I got is probably all bs then cause it tells me water retension values body mass body fat all that shit. Im glad I spent 100$ on some piece of shit when I can spend 5$ on bf pincher thing. When I first got it it told me I was almost 30% bf then I lost 20# and around20% bf but I'll look onto it a little more. It definitely says bf on it but it could be wrong.
I'm not hijacking your thread raz but this might be educational or even helpful for some.
How Body Fat Scales Work And Why It's Important Body fat scales use a technique called Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis... or BIA for short. Very simply... A small and completely harmless electrical current is passed through your body. The electrical current passes more quickly through fat free tissue like muscle than it does through fat or bone tissue. So... The amount of resistance to the electrical current relates to how much fat-free mass a person has and their body density. Here's the first challenge... Like all body fat tests, body fat scales don't actually measure your body fat percentage. They determine your body density. The examiner (or the scales) then uses a formula to calculate body fat percentage based on body density. Here's the key... These formulas just predict your body fat. Unfortunately there is no one formula that accurately predicts body fat for the whole population. Differences in age, gender, ethnicity, body size, and fitness level all have a significant affect on the results. Most scales can account for some of the basic differences such as age and gender, but take the actual body fat percentage they give you with a pinch of salt. What does this all mean for you?Well, whether body fat scales measure your "true" body fat percentage or not doesn't matter! As long as they can accurately monitor changes in your body composition over time, that's all you need. Your body position, the amount of water in your body, your food intake, skin temperature and recent physical activity can all adversely affect the results of body fat scales. So...
Hard to tell due to it being further away than the first but you do look bigger and have abs showing so I'm guessing right around 10%+
God blessed me with a few good features..ABS was not one of them...they are small in size compared to the rest of my frame...I've done everything to make them bigger...its never worked that much. Hoping more gh and more training will eventually solve thisOriginally Posted by lovbyts
Me either and as usual I preach better than I practice but once you get the BF down like you have instead of doing reps, 100s of crunches or??? use added weight like a 35 or 45 lbs weight doing decline situps trying to max out 15 or less to build size.
you look good bro...but you can do ab exersices till your blue in the face bro but the only way to make them pop is to continue to loose bf by diet and cardio but your well on your way so nice work...
You look good bro and I aint going to guess beacuse I suck at it.
This picture looks much closer to your test results than the pic in your log. I don't think you had very favorable lighting in the first pic. Regardless your looking damn good.
..30%
Not to highjack but to illustrate my frustration with bodyfat testing,
I first got tested at my gym with the handheld bioelectic feedback BS and it came up with 20.9% by the way I am 6.1 and 196...So then I did the caliper test and this showed me at 15.9% which was a lot closer to realistic but still seemed a little high. So I took the 3 site readings and found that they run them with different numbers for different ages. I am 56 and if I plugged in 40 yrs then it was 14.1% plug in 21 and it drops to 10.4%. I did some research on this and found that AAS usage causes you to have thicker skin which in turn will cause a higher reading since you are measuring both skin and body fat between the calipers.
Now the reason I say all this is that its my feeling that body composition using underwater weighing is considered the gold standard for a reason. With calipers and all the age variable equations, you never really will get an accurate reading (particularly if you are over 30) using an age calculation that accounts for the average musculature and skin thickness of MR average Joe Citizen. Since those of us who body build and cycle or blast and cruise clearly are not comparable to most people our age.
If you are really concerned with your BF see if any universities in your area offer body comp using underwater wieghing.

I was just reading about electro bs bf weight scales and and they have a accuracy of around +/-5%. That's huge and pinched scales are like +/-2% that not as bad bit I just bought another scale that does your bf and BMI and all that shit and it said I am 197# at 28% bf. That is totally bull. Let's round it a little and say I'm 200# and 30% bf( which I'm not) that means I can loose 50# and I'd be 150# at 10% bf. This is totally wrong 7 years ago when I was 21 I was cut probably at 10-15% bf at almost 180# and I have gained about of muscle since.then. all my fat is on my mid section and that's not the only measurements that have grown. My bis are 2" bigger and my shoulders are about the same with very little fat on them. I'm not sure about my quads I don't remember those measurements. The math is all wrong. What do y'all think. I am going to buy some calipers tomaro to see what they say and I'm.sure it will be totally different reading.
