    Expensive Jeans

I've never really been compelled to buy expensive jeans... I've always been content with Claiborn jeans which you can easily find for 30-40 bucks. My wife drops over $100 on jeans and I've always thought she was insane but I got a pair recently and holy hell I'm never wearing any other kinds of jeans again.

The ones I got were a little over $100 but some there are $250-300! I'm afraid to try them on because I'll want to buy them.. anyone have a pair they paid more than 200 for?

I get old navy jeans for like 20 bucks. Lol
I once paid $80 for jeans and wore them about 2 times before my size changed and I could no longer use them. Never again.

Yes I have some diesel jeans, 7's, and joe jeans. All range from 180-250ish. They're all very comfortable and wouldn't go back to Levi's or other brand of jeans I've had in the past.

I've got some diesel and some true religion jeans that were over 200. You're right though, once you wear the nicer designer jeans all the cheap ones fit and feel.........cheap.

You know, I thought of that briefly as I was trying them on. I was thinking that, when I'm dieting, they may become loose in the waist and not look as good..

Oooo I gotta try one of those. No, no I don't. I got a pair of Luckys and it was just over 100. But some of those 250 pairs just felt like silk practically.

I dont like the cheaper one because they give me monkey butt from all the chafing. My size has been going down steadily for the last two years, so I just buy them at the Goodwill. I have picked up alot of pairs of Lucky's for around $10 each and last time I was there I got some 7's for $10 as well. Jeans are about the only thing you can get at the GW that isnt all beat to hell like most everything else men wear.

Aint that the truth. I have owned most every brand out there and usually come back to Diesel, 7's, and True Religion. I had a few pairs of Rock and Republic which fit great at the time but I grew out of them.

Are you kidding, $200 for jeans? I have a few pair of Diesel but I bought them in Philippines, I think they were $20+ and no, they are not knock offs.

When I was younger I would drop a bill on jeans & not even think about it.

Now, I ask myself before I drop a bill. What did I do to get this & is there anything I can spend my money on that's more valuable to me.

If I had mad cash, I would have a closet full of em' though

Oh man...I feel like a miser. I've never spent more than $40 on a pair!!! Maybe I should splurge once in a while...It's tough though, I feel like it's a waste.

I honestly don't know how you guys can feel comfortable spending $100-300 on some jeans that cost $.10 to make in some sweatshop. Maybe I just have no fashion sense. To me, I try on a pair of jeans, if they're comfortable and the price is right, I buy them. I couldn't tell the difference between the designer brands and Wrangler/Levi anyways unless I'm looking at the tag on the back with the brand logo.

I don't currently wear expensive jeans but since I have dropped from 226 to 196 and need to buy all new ones anyway, maybe I will treat myself to at least one nice pair. Since I am contemplating a purchase of some Drost I better hurry as designer jeans always look better on a guy who still has hair on his head.

By the way I currently wear Levis button fly jeans and to all those who say that designer jeans feel and fit the same as Levis or worse yet Wranglers or the like, all I can say is I must have a designer ass and thighs because I can definately feel the difference in the fit. Hell they even make my dimunitive wiener lump look like a terrible torpedo...

I flat out refuse to pay over £60 (sorry for you Americans, I work in GBP lol) for ANY jeans. You end up ruining them either way, might as well not pay a lot for something you're going to ruin.

It's not just that, I mean if you have a large enough income where you can piss away money and still manage to save. I could then understand spending $100 on a pair.

I know Gixxer said there is a comfortable difference, but still.

I love The Rack. It's a store that carries last seasons clothes at a huge discount. I don't care if my jeans are "last season" when I'm paying almost half retail price.
