i was informed yesterday that in the Chinese Buddhism there was a evil rebirth of Buddha of vengeance and it happens every like 50,000 years or something along those lines and teh name might start with a "A"

don't be so sensitive. this is a valid thread. but you also posted it in the lounge, where all the lounge lizards live. All i did was point out that buddha didn't live 50k years ago, and that with the minimal exposure I've had by only reading a couple of books, that i hadn't heard of such a thing. doesn't mean that you didn't brinng up a valid point. So maybe you can google it until you find an answer and then educate me with what you learned?

i started looking into the religion years ago and than recently, some of the faith I adore...but alas, like most religions it has the extreme aspects that just seem silly to me so I pass on diving in and becoming a follower

perhaps it could be, its all second hand info from and i was just trying to follow the facts. Ive goggled the heck out of it. but as previously stated there doesnt seem to be a story where Buddha was vengeful and judging people. i will look into this anointed one
the only other info i had was there was a picture depicting the story something along the lines of Buddha in a circle of pigs with a sword above his head.
