    Ah Crap!

I do these seated one arm concentration curls. I was on my third rep at 75lbs with my right arm and then i heard a frigggin crunching noise come out of my arm, so i just dropped the weight. that was 7 hours ago.

I usually max out at 80lbs with a few reps, and so I was thinking of not going there this time and just max out at 75.

When I was younger, 80 was never a problem. I've been a little higher a few times, but not too much.

Now I'm an old bull, and constantly on the lookout to prevent injuries. Thought I was being careful by slowly warming up, then 5 reps at 45, then 5 at 55 and so on....

so now i'm hurt. not sure how badly. may have to hold off on curls for awhile, and pulling exercises, which will affect back days, especially the seated rows and the T bar pull downs.

Fuk! Getting old sucks! You blokes just wait until your my age, if you're still lifting that is.

Any bruising or assymetry to suggest biceps tendon rupture?

sounds like it could be a tear of the bicep tendon. what movement causes you pain? where does it hurt the most? Its there any discoloration/bruising? Right now ice the area. 20 minutes on then ice again after the area gets back to normal temp. usually 20 minutes. take NASIDS to help with the, pain and inflammation.

Sucks man. I just turned 35 and, for the first time, I felt like I couldn't reach my potential on cycle. My muscles wanted to lift heavier, but my body wasn't having it (tendons, rotator cuff).

Planning on running HGH for my next for the first time. Didn't you recently order some as well?

well, just back from the frog jumps. but no, no noticeable inflamation or swelling. I've had tissue tear/pop before, and this aint it. I actually heard the crunching noise. But today, it's hardly noticeable. Been a long day, but thinking of hitting the gym tonight and see how it feels when i put a load on it.

really don't know what happened or why that noise occurred....
